I think the club erred in not taking him.

From a simple list mgmt view they had the potential to let Fasolo go back to WA (he was open to it) and acquire a 20+ selection. Could have either backed in Daicos to play that role who had shown really good signs and or sign Menzel as a FA for $200k. They would have got a terrific pick and saved some salary cap space.

Granted its largely hindsight but its a valid argument to say an opportunity might have been missed.
he is a good player but there has to be some serious questions over his long term health.
From what I have read both WC and Pies were open to the trade but Fasolo in the end rejected the move and wanted to pay back the pies.

Pies need a small and big forward both who fit into the quick defensive style, Bucks wants us trapping the ball in the 50 can't do that with the dinosaur club in Cox and Reid.

I would strongly look at Josh Bruce to support Moore and Elliot, Bruce is a big upgrade on Crocker, Saints have no idea how to play the big 3 talls in the same forward line.

Yeah I was going to suggest Bruce as well. If we could get him for a second rounder I think he could be good value for us.

I thought they might have a crack at Bruce last year. he can play both ends as well. he looks lost at STK now.

I think Bruce recently signed on till 2020 so not sure he's getable. A player of his ilk though would be useful, hopefully McLarty continues to develop along those lines.

Yeah think I remember him signing for a while. They were talking about him on future stars the other day. Seemed to think he might be getable.

Agreed I think McLarty is building to something solid. Will do his time in the VFL, think he’ll get his chance next year.

Just ventured on the draft board.......how about those Tigers supporters?

I know I hate Carlton with a passion but wow I can share the hate around..........winners are grinners I guess.
