The report made it sound like an impact injury. That doesn't mean it isn't an ACL, but it would at least avoid any suggestion that he's particularly vulnerable to ACL injuries.

Edit: He was reportedly stretchered off, hope he's okay.
Sorry, missed your post earlier. We will wait and see. Fingers crossed for the kid.

Yes but said to be Fine when we Drafted Him then had the 2 ACL's
We sent him off for foot surgery before he'd played a game. It was a calculated risk to take him. My job is essentially risk assessment and he gives me the heeebie jeebies in hindsight.

I'm stoked that he's now playing good footy. Here's to a long and fruitful career!

Heard a rumour Collingwood is chasing Andrew Gaff.
He and McGovern are 25yo RFAs who will have a lot of money thrown at them this season. McGovern doesn't have the go home factor Gaff does obviously.

Gaff sounds like he's seriously considering it.

soft spot for Carlton out of pity
I wouldn't think Gaff is on our agenda. Our weaknesses lie largely at key position and with proven goal kickers. This is where our focus needs to be this trade and draft period.
But if Lynch costs us two first rounders, and Gaff gets to us as a FA and we keep our first, you'd chose the Gaff option wouldn't you.

I agree we are thin on KPP's but we have quality over quantity IMO.

Gaff will cost us. He's only restricted. So the salary will be high and i'd be reluctant to go there unless it were for a key position. I wouldn't choose Gaff. I'm not sure i'd pay that for Lynch either but it's worth consideration.
