I expect he also go Top 10 but be more 5-10 now then Top 3 Pick that he was looking to be
If he’s a good as made out, I’d pick him as soon as Luk is off the board - ACL or no

Although we really need to have a gun KP developing, I’m also really hoping we land a player like Hill

Hill has an absolute blinder in the WAFL apparently. Going to be a good player I just would be wary of the go home factor.

"The Saints have been open about their intentions to lure players to the club at the end of this year, pointing to their move back to their newly refurbished Moorabbin headquarters as a potential drawcard."

Some worry but would back us in to keep him.
Explosive speed and goal-nous - yes please

If not, be open to trading him back for a large price (Free were willing to give two first rounders to GWS for McCarthy...that they didn't take)

Yep once a shit hole, always a shit hole. Saints never change, just go around in circles.

They're list management is terrible.

They once pinned hope in 2014-15 on getting Steele Sidebottom when he was a free agent in 2016... Who does that?

very desperate clubs, bit like north last year. Trying to get players by offering huge amounts when bad. Stupid really.

Isn't it that effectively what we did last couple of years around Lynch hence not drafting any key forwards?
That's what some of us understandably assume but no one from the club has said that, unless I'm mistaken. The decision to play Moore back this year lends creedence to the idea. I'd like to think we aren't planning our recruitment around an RFI deal that hasn't happened yet, but who knows what the plan is.

I'm a fan of the swedish rock/metal band Ghost. My avatar is Cardinal Copia, the new incarnation of the singer previously known as Papa Emeritus III.

Have a listen to their new song "Rats" if you like guitar-based music. It's a great song and a real ear worm.
An oldie, but you ever listened to the cure A Forest, live. I love that guitar. I heard it live once and it was just ridiculous.

But if Lynch costs us two first rounders, and Gaff gets to us as a FA and we keep our first, you'd chose the Gaff option wouldn't you.

I agree we are thin on KPP's but we have quality over quantity IMO.
We would want to grab best KPF with our 1st and select Will Kelly as FS. That would sure up our KP stocks.

My concern is if we have to go two draft age key positions we won't start seeing them pull their weight for 4 years. We may need to go down that route but I reckon we need a ready made key position player if it's possible.

Or they could come in a play from Round 1... Two ways of looking at it. Theres nothing other than Lynch and Mcgovern (he can't play full back) thats worth it.

If you're realistic the chances of a draft age key position player coming in and playing to a high AFL standard immediately is highly unlikely. I certainly wouldn't bet on it.

Lynch and McGovern are the only decent free agent listed key position players. But that doesn't stop us trading for one. There are other key position players out there.

Depends on which key position players we get.
If we are turning the corner proformance was, we will not have to rush them into the team, and we can do the same as we have done with Mclarty.
Time in the vfl to properly learn and devolved their game, while adding strength.
I don’t totally believe in just playing them. Too early it can harm mentally and physically when not ready. Learn the game and when form is right by knocking down the door, then play them.
Could be right in under two seasons. As is Mclarty.
