I agree his currency has risen very high, love the bloke tho, always wanted him to succeed with us!

His run and boot sets him apart from all our mediums except Jack Crisp, and Murray to an extend. I think he’d fit nicely in Maynes spot, but like mentioned would cost a lot.
I say he same as Murray as his Disposal is Hot and Cold

I'm happy to admit trading Seedsman was a mistake. Probably the only one we have made for a long while though. You cant win them all and even the trade itself couldnt be considered a loss given we landed Howe. But yes losing Seedsman was a mistake.

In terms of wanting him back....well no, hes gone, cant see why he'd want to come back, and he'd cost too much. Just need to back Murray and others in, and learn from how we failed to back Seedsman in.
Seedman was one dimensional. That trade was a win for us.
Adams made the Shaw trade look good again today.

Don’t get me wrong I am happy with the trade because we got Howe. If we could have landed Howe another way then maybe we could still have both of them. But Seedsman in 2018 form would have improved us even further this year.

Adams is one of many deals where we are miles ahead. He’s still only 25 or so!!

I don’t think Seedsman would have ever become the player he is now if he stayed in Melbourne. His dickhead mates had too much influence on him.

Bottom line is we got a bloody good player out of it in Howe. Funnily enough we lost one Collingwood fanatic and brought in another.

And really, given our list and the trajectory of a kid like Phillips, I'd much rather have an elite intercept defender than an elite winger (which Seeds isn't yet as he needs to maintain his current level for a good while yet).

That Seed is finally doing justice to his ability is good news for him and Adelaide.

Not sure if anyone listened to Bucks on the hot breakfast this morning, but he made a very strongly worded speech about the AFL interfering with player movement when Tom Lynch’s name came up.
Yes and it seemed like he almost slipped up and was going to say Tom wants to go home. Or maybe thats just what I wanted to hear

Roos went pretty hard saying the AFL MUST keep him at the Gold Coast.

He is a gonna IMO.
And that was what Bucks was annoyed about. The idea that the AFL could force a player who wants to move home in to staying put is fairly ludicrous.

Nah I heard it that way too. It was a pretty interesting unprompted outburst considering the fairly light hearted lead in. Made me think Bucks may be a tad invested in the young man.

Bucks doesn't say stuff by accident.......definitely premeditated.

Can someone please explain to me how equalisation is fair?

If you're a shit club with a shit coach. You cut corners and shit. What.. the AFL gives you another pick? What kind of skata is that.

Better of getting an independent enquiry.. go to the heart of the issue or whatever re.. rather than compensating these idiot clubs for f it up every yr with a quick fix.. so these idiot clubs get an extra pick.. why.. to punish the more sound clubs.

It's just ridiculous.

If you're a shit club with shit players a shit venue a shit coach.. you deserve being on the bottom. Grow up!

The principle rewards mediocrity.

Is the AFL assuming clubs like Carltank don't piss it up in the boardroom.

The model Gerard Healy put forward could work.

If you miss finals for 5 years in a row you get the first pick after the first round.

I don't mind that because it is very clear and no grey areas like that bullshit priority the Dees got for losing Frawley to the Hawks.
