Tom Lynch thread on the Tigers board is at 120 pages.

Why are they so bitter with us re Treloar when they are the reigning Premiers and likely to go back to back??

On a side note I was speaking to a couple die hard Essendon supporters that "had" to leave the game early because of the Tigers supporters behaviour.
Both of them have never left a game ever in the past. Weird lot these Tiggies.
That's why I gave them a Nickname of Premiershipmond they winge about everything

NEXT ROOEY THE NEXT NO.1 PICK

JON RALPH reports ...

NICK Riewoldt clone Jack Lukosius has been declared the best junior prospect in 15 years after another stunning display at the weekend.

As clubs begin to assess their likely draft positions, recruiters have South Australian Lukosius, 17, the clear No.1 pick.

The 194cm centre half-forward gave them another reminder with 159 ranking points, 17 disposals, 14 marks, four goals and five inside-50 marks for SA in the national championships.

He kicked four goals in his senior SANFL debut in a preliminary final for Woodville-West Torrens last year, and is equally capable on a wing or at centre half-back.

AFL talent manager Kevin Sheehan said yesterday Lukosius was “special with a capital S”, similar to Riewoldt but with a more fluent kicking action.

One AFL recruiter said yesterday the 194cm key-position player, 18 in August, was a once-in-a-generation player.

“He is the best I have seen in 15 years,” he said.

“We saw in a trial early on in the year he played as a key defender, then at halftime put him to the wing and he was just as dominant. He plays senior footy for the Eagles as a key forward. There is so much upside to his game.”

Carlton, Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast are all chances to have the No. 1 pick.

Quicky you don't send the second in charge of the AFL there if you don't feel guilty about how they set them up initially.

Personally I don't think two teams in Queensland will work until the Academies provide players for them.
That could be ten years away IMO.
To me the big issue was always their initial recruiting. Whoever was in charge of that was a fool, who paid absolutely no intention to creating a culture. They should have gotten themselves a swag of blokes with genuine work ethic, even if near the end or not great players to compliment Ablett, but all they got was loose canons and solo artists. So you ended up with a bunch of 18 year olds in a party town being lead by the likes of Jared Brennan.

It was Scott Clayton wasn't it? Not sure who the footy director was though.

He probably already knows he going to play for Carlton unless they trade it

Feel badly for Lukosious but he is a Bblue, no question. They’ll tank if there isn’t any question he won’t be. Nothing surer. With Lukosious and Curnow up forward, they have 2 guns. Cripps in the guts also. They are going to build a team eventually,
