Brodie will stay anyway.

Let the melts begin when he goes; once new AFL salary cap set etc the deal will get done.

Simples.

There is no way that after all this time we have a super ruck, one we've nurtured, we're just going to let him go.

Will not happen.

Why so certain? Because unless there is some mother of a deal, we'll pay terrific dollars to our main man. He is integral and part of the future. Whilst some don't rate anything the Club does, even our "dim witted" club does know that certain players are A grade and they need to stay.

Once we get a new coach, I believe the following players may become trade bait at end of season to gain more picks in this years draft.

Jack Crisp
James Aish
Levi Greenwood
Alex Fasolo

And delist the following-

Mayne (if we could only terminate this ridiculous mistake)
White (if his performances don't improve dramatically)
Blair
Sier

Grundy and Cox requests trades Jesse White could be our number 1 ruck next season.
Grundy is a much better and more effective player without Cox in the side. Maybe that's why he's stalled contract as we're too busy trying to reinvent the wheel with novelty gifts than actually spend time and resources into our players that actually have a chance of playing in our next premiership side.

not that I want him back but...

are carlton allowed to change daisy's contract as he was a restricted free agent?

it would be like sydney and buddy agreeing to wipe off a million and couple of years of his contract when it was the length and size of the contract that allowed them to get him from hawthorn in the first place?

I believe it was an "option" that could either be enforced or waived by Thomas

For goodness sake, they never said Darcy was unhappy with or at the club.
He's, (supposedly) unhappy with the way he's being utilised or asked to play.
Let's face it, just about any one of our forwards could complain.
Stupid ball movement is killing them all.

PS: Garry Lyon said he'd be banging on the coaches door every week if it was him.
Yep the commentators on Sat said our forwards cannot lead with confidence as we cannot hit targets, so they hang back and wait to see where the ball goes. They made specific mention of how hard it would be for Moore. Our system and skills suck.

Don't forget to cut Josh Thomas and Lachlan Keefe, why did wait for that crap. Both have done nothing to redeem themselves yet IMO
