Lever being hamfisted by Daniher right now if anyone cares to watch, first real job I've seen him have and he is giving away panicky frees. Also has been kicking very up and under type kicks tonight.

Only part way through the 2nd lets see if he can settle and turn it around will be a good challenge for him.
He didn't look comfortable at all did he especially considering that's what we really need him for, but in fairness Daniher will do that to most KPD's.

What did you think of my mate up the other end? Kicked 3, had 8 score involvements from just 10 possessions and looked real threatening deep I50.

Right now would rather us go to the draft and try and move up than use the pick in trade time.
Agree, For me it is more important to have a team playing a clear and achievable game style week in week out than loading up our side with 'stars' and failing in the the simple execution of football basics.
This is the path Richmond has taken, while they added talent it was no better than what we have brought in and I would say we have the better list however they are a far better coached and drilled team than what we are.

A lot of the guys on their list are non descript somewhat unknown players who obviously do a role and do it really really well without standing up in lights, Hardwick has done a brilliant job this year and good on him, now I want to see that at our club.

That's what you take from that comment. Holy! I say the same thing when I go back to Victoria. It doesn't mean i'm moving back from FNQ!

Has anyone speculated on the behaviour ThePhantom777? I'd love to know the nature of it because if it's akin to JDG's it's a non issue, but if it's criminal activity then piss him off, IMO. No amount of personal hardship can excuse that with the amount of training they receive.

Hahahah what was he meant to say? "I hate being here getting a home cooked meal and seeing my friends and family. Being back in my home state is the worst."
Not the wisest strategy, when Collingwood delist his soft, overhyped arse next year. Then he'll be without a family as well as a club...

I think we should actually stick with Reid as a the deep forward. Let Moore play as CHF and then having Elliott, Fasolo, WHE, Kirby, Daicos or Sidey buzzing around HF would be a potent forward line...if Reid fecking stays healthy.

But the point is to try and target a player who is starved of opportunities at their current club. Like what Gold Coast did with Witts, that way you don't actually pay through the nose for a guy like McGovern.

The Lions have drafted plenty of KP players recently - Hipwood, Scache, Skinner, Andrews, Freeman, McStay, Close

A couple of Victorians worth pursuing that could potentially get for a 2nd or 3rd rounder...McStay or Close would potentially be gettable and are both still very young and could blossom.

Would also allow us to actually go to the draft with our pick 6 or 7.
I like this idea, a young prospect not getting time and continue the development of our young stocks coupled with a few more KPP this draft. Moore with another preseason will come on. Dunn can also play forward, just a side note.

What would people think of Jack Martin's trade value? IMO, he's a bit of an enigma that's just in the wrong environment. In a blue collar team I think he would add enormous value, but at the Suns he's cream when they need cake. He has smarts, skills and talent coming out the wazoo so could be an intriguing option.

I feel like he'd cost too much tbh and I'd rather invest in key position players. He'd be nice on our forward flank delivering inside 50 though.

They were saying when he was drafted that he was gonna be better than Jaeger, yeah? Can't imagine they'd let him go without a ridiculous price tag.

Lever was lucky he didn't have a real bag kicked on him. Looked poor in the 1v1's.
McGovern is a cheaper better option for us.. with you there.
