We are likely to be bottom 4 next year and people are saying no to Stringer lol. A young player who has kicked over 40 goals twice and played in a premiership.

I would taken him in a heartbeat.

Bottom 4 of the 8 you mean surely
Easier draw (13) not contaminated by essendon penalty this year which certainly gave Melbourne, port and essendon a huge leg up with those new top end recruits .( note played all 3 last season twice for 1/5). Continuity a settled list , better assistant coaches, natural development and of course picking guys in the right spots all will help. Crisp hbf, varcoe hff, adams bb, treloer hbf all examples of using our strengths better and allowing lesser lights Wills, maynard , Degoey more midfield time as they are ALL bigger ,STRONGER, meaner
LOCK IT IN and GET ON

Stringer is so ideal if we could solve his personal problems. Honestly having fasolo, Elliot and stringer in a forward line not to mention the hopeful progression of moore would instantly give us a very dangerous forward line.

Pick 6? Hmm best KPD if we landed stringer.

That's an unbalanced forward line in my opinion. Our issue is Moore, Cox, Elliot, Fas all love flying for marks. We need a crumber, and not another key target. Could agree if it meant Elliot or Fasolo onto a wing.

Pick 6 to the draft if we can't get Lynch

Lucky I am hiding in my office, this caused me to laugh out loud! I hear Buckley was in the Submarine that abducted Harold Holt plus he bears a striking resemblance to the Night King and is good mates with Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger)!
The night king is a beauty.
Looks not totally dissimilar.

Littlefinger not close, you need a real devious type for that? An AFL commissionaer, bingo Mike Fitzpatrick

Is Stinger not a crumber. Loved a snap.

On Stringer...

People have said there will be a bidding war for him, but this is not necessarily true.

Lets say Stringer decides the club he wants to go too... he then goes to the dogs and says "trade me to Collingwood, thats where i want to go."

Collingwood could then say we'll give you a third round pick... Bulldogs then go back to Stringer and say we want you to go the Essendon cause they're willing to give us a first round pick, Stringer can simply say no... i want to go to the Pies.

Bevo has said he has to go, so the threat of making Stringer fulfill his contract is off the cards.

Stringer has the power to chose exactly where he wants to play... and its not like he'll care if the dogs get a fair trade as he is being shown the door on a current contract.

Would disagree usually with the morals behind situations like this, however given i feel we were completely shafted when Beams did it to us we have one in the bank.

Stringer could be a cult figure at the pies. Seems to be a bloke who loves big games, don't see why the deal wouldn't work. The Dogs and Pies haven't had the best history in the past few years (seems to be Eddy vs. Gordon at every opportunity in regards to the big club vs. small club debate), that's the only real barrier i see.

Littlefinger is a devious mate like a player agent like Ralph Carr. Robbo is Hodor without the strength or loveability.
No Robbo is not Hoddor, nah.

Robbo is any of the drunken slobs in the taverns around kings landing
No charm, no wit, no nothing

Did like your little finger Carr

No one was happy with what we got for Witts, Cloke or (especially) Marley Williams. We've got more than just the Beams one in the Bank.

I think comments from the captain and his popularity within the group are a poor guide to his future.

Flipping it around Pendles is hardly going to say he hates it in Melbourne and is gone. The travels are also every possibility of being a send off ala Beams time in Bali. We all remember the McCarthy stuff on Insta when Barrett (from memory) dropped that he wanted out?

My hope is that Collingwood get a good outcome. Whether that's him staying or not IDK.
Respect your opinion Scodog. I just don't see the indicators other than a rumour on the TV. Just hope Fas and the club are both better off in the end.

If we didn't want Rockliff due to him being an all round flog i doubt we would be interested in Stringer
keep hearing about him being a 'flog'.

is it a detriment to his team mates? to just his on-field opponents? or is he just a general tosser?

I have no problem with an outspoken bloke who has his teams back.

We already have too many mids, only would be ok with getting an A Grade mid if he had shown some aptitude in going forward and kicking a goal.

Do not want Rockliff

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Only reason we would bring rocky in is if we traded one of our mids for a first roubd puck or lynch et al
