Has anyone heard more on the Mullett link? Think he could be a jet on either flank with his pace and a deadly left foot. Whether hitting targets coming out of the D50 or slotting a couple up forward think he could be a sizable asset to go in next to the likes of Adams, Pendles etc who aren't overly quick players.
If we could get him and Saad, Mullett on the HFF and Saad on HBF, I think their pace would create some real problems for opposition clubs, and give us some real run and carry compared to the crab like moments we've had this year.

Also think Watts could be a really good inclusion IF we can seriously get Lynch next year, Lynch would automatically claim the number one defender while Darcy would have the second. Having Watts as the third target allows us to go tall down there with Lynch, Moore and Watts or go small when needed playing Lynch out of the square with fas, elliot and Kirby at his feet and Watts pushing up the ground to link up the midfield and forward line. That being said I wouldn't be looking at giving much more than 36 for him.

36 for Watts, future second for Saad, and a 4th/5th for Mullet?

Big call Kirby on him being not that good.
He is good, no doubt about it cfc, but is he great or will he get to that level.
Which if you are paying Gary Ablett money is where you want him to be.
I am not sure he will get to that level, yes you can say look at the team he is in, and in a way you would be right, but l have seen quite a bit of the G.c and l don't know if he will get to that level.
Not against getting lynch, would be great with Darcy, but our expectations of him and what he will do, should be tempered a bit

Mate you are a lone voice, either you're a genius and the rest of us have no idea or you are (a) taking the piss or (b) got no idea.
Twenty odd votes in the brownlow in his first year with us says he is a jet. Surely you're just sitting back and having a laugh at your ridiculous postings...please tell me so
Simple minds are easily pleased, probably why you are so happy selling the farm for Treloar. Have fun watching us miss the finals for the 5th straight year. We are already watching the 2nd worst era off the footy club but keep telling me how everything the club touches turns to gold

Dont think he is a lone voice. I for one have been consistent on this all through, we overpaid and would have been better off using the resources to fix other holes.

Not that I am a particular supporter of Seeds but I am a bit sick of people trotting out the lone voice, no idea, taking the piss shit when someone is nowhere near off the reservation.

and just like that.. Essendon are a more appealing club than us, not too long ago they were the lepers of the AFL.

Worrying times! haha.
Based on what? Smith wanting to go there and potentially Stringer?

$$$ usually play the biggest part, but they simply may have been more keen on the players (particularly Smith), than we were. Why would you come to us if we are only a little bit interested?

So we have missed on Lever, Smith and now looks like Saad.
Surprising we couldnt get Smith, with the GWS link at the Pies. Saad will go to the Bombers as well l hear. They will do really well from this trade period.
For us Watts and Crameri maybe our focused targets, but would like to get a running player with good disposal.....Aaron Hall?

Wooden spoon for GCS in 2018 and he will be a Pie in 2019, I have no doubt about that.

Stringer and Saad are both player types that would benefit our team IMO.

Fair to say if Essendon end up landing all of Stringer, Saad and Smith (the latter 2 we have an interest in apparently) then that's one spot in the 8 just about all sewn up in 2018 and that makes it all the more harder for us to do the same.

Your point is about overpaid and that's fine, Seeds trumpets up "stats" to try support his point, his doozy being Treloar's kicking efficiencies when the facts are it's better than Danger and Martin.
That's why he is called out as being off the reservation

More rubbish - AT disposal efficiency is HIGHER (68.5%) than Dangerfield (65.9%) and Dustin Martin (64.9%).

Anything else?
Yet Treloar was the only one of those men mentioned players to get more than 50% of his ball o n the outside. Yet his disposal efficiency is still low. That's a bit inconvenient for you. Statistically to be considered an elite kick champion data wants you uncontested kicking efficiency to be 80+ percent. For contested kicks it's around 65%

I said in that post I don't know what Shai's defensive pressure was like and asked for clarification on it. On the otherhand I know Smith's is shit but you didn't address that. But by all means rant on!
Dosent matter now he is going to Essendon. We probably werent that keen on Smith to begin with. l was keen to get him, but not disappointed he isnt coming to us, as we have plenty of his type on the list currently.

Crameri is not an age bracket we should be looking at. Pairing him with Moore? Are they serious? He's another Fas, Elliott size/type player. Are we going to spend 2018 trying to copy Richmond like we spent 2017 trying to copy Dogs?
Eddie wants Quick Fixes so we can hopefully make Finals so he can Boast how Bucks has Improved the Club:straining:

I have no doubt the club thinks so as they seem to be going hard for him.
If we can get this off season right and fix the most of the main holes and climb the ladder substantially then he could be the icing we need for the tilt.
But we should not think he will do it all.
