Rumour on our board that we're into JDG and that he's interested despite having just re-signed.
Unknown poster so no credits in the bank so likely BS - can't see why he'd be interested unless we are offering some ridiculous cash.

However with this Moore talk thought i'd throw this up and interested to see what you think as a Collingwood supporter.

From a list perspective would you consider trading him for pick 1 or pick 1 & Liam Jones?
This would give you the opportunity to draft the highly rated Lukosius who can supposedly play both forward and back to a high standard...it could also potentially free up a bit of cash to keep Moore so have both he and Lukosius.

JDG looks a potential gun and understand if you rubbish this hypothetical but it looks like Collingwood have heaps of depth in that forward/mid type player like Stephenson, WHE, Mihocek etc and JDG is still inconsistent...with past indiscretions as well.

Could be a potentially ruthless and shrewd move by Collingwood to move him on and allow you to draft Lukosius and keep Moore by offering more $$$, boosting your KPP stocks for years to come.
You need to go and wake up the ‘unknown poster’ from the dream he is having.

MMM reported last week that GWS as it stands now will be over $1m over the salary cap for next year. A mate who is aligned with GWS indicated to me that if a team gave the tree a shake you would be surprised what may fall out for the right deal. I like 3 of their players (names keep popping up...) who starred against the Swans yesterday
Cameron 14 disposals; 10 contested; 4 marks; 2 tackles; 4 I50's; 2 goals; 270m gained
Shiel 23 disposals; 9 contested; 3 marks; 4 tackles; 9 I50's; 6 clearances; 5 stoppages; 2 goal assists; 401m gained
Tomlinson 21 disposals; 10 contested; 7 marks; 1 tackle; 5 I50's; 3 clearances; 2 stoppages; 321m gained

Would take any of the three mentioned and will be happy to include Whitfield, Scully and Coniglio to that list. I’d push the boundaries to try and shake two from that overall list

Cameron or Shiel would be huge pick ups.

Mate who is involved there was talking about some Victorians, the club knows are interested in "coming home" in the next few years, but because of severe salary cap constraints, the club would consider offers now. Cameron is the highest paid at the club and refused to take lesser money some years ago or renegotiate to keep everyone at the club. All others took lesser pay. Shiel took unders, but is still on significant pay and Scully's pay was cut in half. This is what happens when you have a playing list of Top 15 draft picks. Coniglio wasn't mentioned..is he Victorian?, Whitfield loves it there. I am sorry Scully was the other mentioned but I overlooked him in my earlier. He is 28 next year. Broke his ankle earlier this year. They were initially hoping he would make it back for finals but ankle continues swelling with any prolong weight bearing. Has two years left on a contract. They also want salary cap space for Kelly next year, who they see as a future captain.

I know we aren't getting Lynch, but geez I'd love to have a genuine superstar forward. I don't think we have had one in a long time. I suppose you can argue Cloke was, but he was so up and down and unreliable, I don't count him. Having a Buddy, Kennedy, Brown, would be quite the luxury.

I also felt out Mids got smashed last night in the last quarter.
Treloar probably underdone,
Sier ran out of steam,
Adams was good but that head knock may not have helped,
Sidey was great,
Pendles was pretty poor,
Phillip got the ball a bit but wasn't influential at all,
De Goey played forward and was generally poor all game.

Do we need another mid to help out?

That's interesting. On a needs basis I would have a crack at Cameron and Haynes. Shiel would be excellent also and prepare us for life post Pendles.
