I’d be bitterly disappointed if we allow Brisbane to now bend us over a barrel, again for a 29 year old mid we don’t have a need for.

Which is what’s the likely scenario.

Yep don't understand why we didn't have this kind of crack at May which is a serious need.

Take that, very unlike Collingwood to get such a cheap deal going our way.
We borrowed Wright for an hour, and they thought they where dealing with the hawks.

Brisbane now don't need our pick to land Neale.
Brisbane may prefer to keep Beams to the end of his contract (Beams has said he is okay with doing that) rather than taking 2018 #18 and a 2019 pick around the same mark.
It'll get done. Only thing Brisbane has done it made it more on their terms. Contracted player plus they don't need the pick we would have given them for Neale. We just need to come to the party more.

Because we can't satisfy GC. How many times does it need to be said?

They want better picks. Only Melbourne can do that after they move on Hogan.

Or GC will wait until next year and get compensation.

Seems Caroline Wilson was right in August with her prediction that Beams wants back to Collingwood. Beams didn't like her column or it seems her in his response to the article, see below.

Tell the Witch get a Life and stop shitting on Collingwood and Espically Eddie.

Richmond Media Mafia still at it

Mate aren't you the same bloke who said we shouldn't be going after May because he's a flog?

No I said we shouldn't be going after Beams because his a flog.

Melbourne in essence are trading Jessie Hogan for May (and maybe more).

Simply put, we don't have a high enough draft pick, or the desire to trade a gun player, to get the May deal done.

Remember GC will probably get pick 2 for May if we walks out via FA next year. So the trade for GC needs to be appealing.

We won’t if we are getting something back why is it so hard for so many people to understand

It’s been 3 years and some posters are still saying we gave up two firsts for Treloar and ignoring the second we got back (which turned into Sier), so I don’t hold out much hope of people understanding this one.
