Half a quarter in I know, but Hopper is looking great. Moves well with the ball in hand
He's sort of had the Laverde 'random acts of bullshit' type injuries so the good thing for him is that he looks fit and trim, even if he looks half a step behind on occasion

It's a scrappy game. Kennedy has been just as bad, even guys that're normally pretty efficient like Greene, Ward, Deledio haven't been particularly clean either.

But yes lets single out one player.
Far from a scrappy game.

Nah Lever is the best defender I've seen at his age probably. I like Haynes though he's fast and rangey good reading the play

Whitfield is made for our style of play.
Agreed! I wish he wasn't a number 1 pick that makes it hard

Higher IQ with and without the footy - Hops a little see ball, get ball
I thought the complete opposite with both. Hopper more thoughtful around the ground and in stoppages, did a lot of directing and made sure his opponent was in check something our mids rarely do
