If Hayes were a 7/10 for his age group, CCJ was a 6/10, is Hayes a far superior player? Starting to seriously doubt it. If DeKoning were a 5.5/10 he could even be sufficient enough.

Get a feeling we either a0 trade our first, or b) go for an inside midfielder with it.

Just a gut feeling. The kid Mynot is seriously appealing to me, seems to be able to do it all without any standout features.
For their age group id go
Hayes 9/10
CCJ 8/10
De Koning 6/10

Mynott has the workrate to appeal to us, from a well respected family. Nice size aswell at 185cm with plenty of growth to come only 73kg. Mynotts main query atm is that he has a good workrate but he doesn't get as much of the ball as you would like although his stats at TAC mirror Adam Cerra.

how about a tom nicholls?
Again, how much development left in him? Not a lot. The guy lost his spot to Jarrad Witts. Jarrad. Witts.

Would rather develop a younger guy that has the opportunity to develop into a best 22 ruckman then waste a list spot on someone who will only ever be depth.
So draft a guy or pick up a player like Flynn from GWS or archie smith from brisbane. Guys that are young enough to have development left in them but are stuck behind quality ruck stocks.

How athletic are these guys D_P_S?

The thing that has impressed me so much about Draper is how high he can jump. He has an incredible leap and for mine that gives him a massive advantage.

Leuey is very vanilla for a ruck and I just don't see the point in getting another ruck on our list if they are only going to play VFL.

Ill no more when the combine comes along but id say in order of athleticism
De Koning
Hayes
CCJ

None of them are Vanilla ill put it that way but they aren't on lets say a Paddy Ryder level of athleticism

Dodoro has had some success with finding guys from other sports so he may even go down that avenue.

I would be surprised if he doesn't get a mid or hbf though with our first couple of picks.

This Trade/Draft period shapes up to be one of the more intriguing ones for a while because we don't usually have this much depth across the park.

The easy way to get Dusty.
Lindsay Tanner is Labour Party through and through. Puts in a call to his old mate Bill who looks certain to be the next PM.
" Bill old mate , just need a little job done when you win the next election mate, need you to get someone back their Visa and allow them back in the country ."
Bill" yeah no problems Tan, as good as done "

I kinda like it when he drafts footballers too though. Its prob not his style and sure he knows a lot more than me but with our list the way it is I prefer he play it safe and go for a parker over a steinberg so to speak.

Fortunately for us he does pick footballers.

One of the most underrated list managers in the AFL.

It's time we get some new blood in. I would keep Dodoro but he can take care of player contracts/trading side of things imo.
He struggles to land free agents. I am not sure this is a strength. I think he has overseen a couple of decent drafts though he may rue not selecting Charlie Curnow.
