Not worried about kicking action, more the decision making
Again, Gold Coast's forward structure is a shambles. When he was playing for Coburg he and Lech Featherston had a great understanding together. Featherstone had around 60 shots on goal that year, Saad set up around 25-30% of those at a guess. Not to mention he and Hartley are very good mates

Kennedy will be nominating Carlton.
Would have thought he might struggle to get a go in their midfield...Cripps is the type of player he should be, they will probably have Rockliff,Gibbs(??), Murphy, Doherty wants to move to midfield, Devon Smith, SPS and pick 3 will be getting midfield time. That has him about 8th in line to get a run through the midfield by my count. Sell him the "you will be our Josh Kennedy" story and go get him!!

Take out Rockliff and Gibbs potentially, and he gets in ahead of the rest except Cripps and Murphy

Eth-dog will probably be able to confirm, but i am pretty sure Saad played in defence at coburg with Hartley.

Might be worth getting Harts involved in the pitch...

Yep, and the two are very good mates. It's not at Hartley/Walla levels but they're definitely close.

Isn't Saad contracted until the end of 2018? I can't imagine the Suns would be all that thrilled to see him depart. He's one of their classier and speedier types. That drive and dare off half back is something that they're already lacking - would be a sizeable loss.

The club supposedly wants Stringer in the middle.
Pfft....stringers not a midfielders ar**hole. I marvel at the delusion in here that he is though.:D

Stringer's an Aker like wanker & no good for the playing group with his mindset. I think if you can't respect Bob Murphy & Bevo then you've got to be more trouble than your worth.

Let Geelong have him.

Nah, they have plenty of those types.

Also, using twitter as an infallible source (everyone knows that, right?) we're getting Saad:
