Current contract quoted as 600 , doubt anyone pay that though ,I think his value might be closer $400k.

To think he wanted to come to us and we closed the door could be useful right now.Jake Stringer is a seriously good player, criminally under-rated based on his best form last year and this year.
Clubs try to replicate the Dusty role. Cripps, Bontempelli, Fyfe, Dangerfield, are some very highly rated players who have not really been able to pull it off by doing big damage forward when it matters. Apart from Martin, you probably have about three players capable of doing that sort of role to a truly damaging level, Petracca, K-Mart Dusty, and Jake Stringer. Toby Greene can but is probably not as good in the midfield.
He could have got more out of himself at times, but $600k pa for a player like him is a bargain imo. He could certainly help a team win finals. The trouble is we don’t need him because we have Dusty and Bolton. I am pretty certain the Bombers wouldn’t be letting him go for $600k type offers, whenever fitness has allowed he has been brilliant for them over the last 2 seasons since they started using him in the middle then rolling forward. You can tell the Bombers understand his value by the way they use him.
In 5 full games this year of an injury interruption he has 12 goals, 20 tackles and 15 clearances.
In 4 shorted games last year before being pretty seriously injured he got 11 goals, 15 tackles and 4 clearances.
Converting those 2020 figures to full match time, in the only 9 games where Stringer was anywhere near right since the start of 2020, he gets a tick under 3 goals per game, over 4 tackles per game, and over 2 clearances. Clubs would pay for players who can have that type of impact on he big stage.
It’s being rumoured Essendon aren’t willing to offer anywhere near his current contract and are only offering short term 1-2 years . He allegedly wants a longer term deal .Jake Stringer is a seriously good player, criminally under-rated based on his best form last year and this year.

At his first 2 seasons yes , has never played anywhere near it since , nowhere near. Not the worst player out there but way off 600 value as he struggles to kick 30g a yearJake Stringer is a seriously good player, criminally under-rated based on his best form last year and this year.

NM would be only club half interested in splashing cash thereIt’s being rumoured Essendon aren’t willing to offer anywhere near his current contract and are only offering short term 1-2 years . He allegedly wants a longer term deal .

Wants a deal that ends when his new missus graduates HS?It’s being rumoured Essendon aren’t willing to offer anywhere near his current contract and are only offering short term 1-2 years . He allegedly wants a longer term deal .
What if we’re using a few picks to trade up into the top 10, top 5?Please no trading picks. Do not go down the road of the hawks. We've had about 1 pick in the top 20 in 5 years, we need to get some young talent.

They reckon Carlton has already offered him a mega deal that would price us out. Would be a nice fit though.Would love Adam Cerra from Freo, but just can't see us have any cap room for him especially if we don't have many senior players moving on at years end he is only 21 years old too.

We've already got Stack we're trying to keep in line, don't reckon we need the added distraction of having to slap the Gatorade saxophone out of Willies mitts every 10 minutes.Go after Willie Rioli, Eagles seem like they’re happy to part ways with him

Its just an egg. Is there anything that isnt potentially offensive these days?It maybe a funny joke to me but? That’s very cheeky putting a picture of a egg instead of his name;

Rediculous how ppl treats the young lad on here and seems singling out from the rest of the group of named players,

He’s yet to prey on the schoolgirl who will be his girlfriend when he retires . She’s most likely yet to start school .Wants a deal that ends when his new missus graduates HS?
How much would be put aside for these guys from 2022 onwards?Think we are Ok with our cap
Caddy , Riewoldt , Cotchin , Astbury , Edwards , Houli will all most likely be taking less or retire when OOC

No DH policy applies still. Computer says No.
