Fingers crossed he stays a Richmond man.

The 3 Bs. - Baker, Bolton, Balta are priority one re-signings over the next couple of years. If there’s some fallout around that then so be it
He ain't going anywhere

If he wants to play down back we have no need for him.

Dunno.

If Gibcus goes forward he would be a point of difference to Grimes and others. We will know more end of 2023 anyway.

Himmelberg is not a big key position. He would be a third stringer or even a fourth so Balta would still be doing his thing. Biggy might be doing different positions and Miller would be more key.

Probably stay at GWS anyway

So we recruit a bloke who has played most of his career as a forward to play down back because we want to play a promising young key defender up forward?

Makes perfect sense.

It does when the promising defender was also a promising forward but never got much of a shot with covid and the forward was a defender as McVeigh would know when he coached him as a junior

Its important to read the smoke from the mirrors

Kinda shows how dumb GWS with Cameron was when Cameron was moved up the ground as a strategic move and even in defense to move the ball on by Scott on the weekend. Its a bit like playing Richo as a forward when he was always a wingman who could drift forward and kick goals as per the Allies match.

Bauer is a talent, he has the confidence to come on like JR8 did.

I like the idea of Biggy as a defensive forward/ruck, played ruck in juniors, can chase, tackle and intercept and has the right athleticism to go with a Tom Stewart type intercepting back and shut them down. Neat kick of the ball from a mark too.

VFL R14: Nyuon makes goal debut after siren

Like to say I thought of it but it was Steve Morris that swung him forward and changed the game down at GMHBA stadium yesterday
was a beautiful kick by biggie.

that last quarter gave me belief the club is gathering cohesion and will to win that has seemed a bit awol last year and some of this year.

Josh Dunks - cant kick, no good, dont want. :drunk:

13 goals / 2 behinds in his last 9 weeks.

Average of 24 disposals and 1.4 goals a game

He is the right age, character and playing style to be our next captain and lead a midfield.

I would gladly hand over our 1st for this man.

A starting midfield next year of Dunks, Prestia and Bolton is as good as any midfield in the game and is so perfectly balanced.
awesome fuck yeah GIF by joecappa

Wouldn't be a bad option. Suffers a bit at GWS because they expect too much of him.

Alongside Lynch he'd likely fit in well.
Don't mind.
Next year we'd be consolidating rather than contending due too retirements.
Draft a KP and use Baur and/or Gibcus too partner Lunch.
Hiimersberg as a FA next year like it.
