I would take the first rd pick as overs against us to get Scooter but would do it.

With the injury this year and his production down, I think a high 2nd is better market value. As you say however, he is contracted so you have the bat and ball and its your rules, so our first to get it done.

Hypothetically if Ryder was to leave the Lions and threatened to walk. Essendon would probably be better off with lions 2nd rounder than Clark. So possibly they could exchange Ryder for a 2nd rounder. Then another trade either player or pick to Melbourne for Clark.

not really, I know West Coast wouldn't even entertain the idea, that's his market value right now though but only if Scott came out and said he wanted to leave then it would be done, Scott seems happy at the moment and is contracted, Eagles wouldn't even bother as he has a lot of improvement to come and in my opinion I think next year he'll have a better year.

I wouldn't give up anything more than pick 50 for Clark. Mental AND physical issues? way, way too many question marks there to give up something decent, let alone Paddy

How could he possibly be worth 10 - 15? Granted he's shown some potential, but there's still a long way to go. On the subject of pick 28, didn't you pick up Lewie Taylor? Who would you prefer as Taylor would have been our second round choice at 28.

No argument here buddy ill take taylor over yeo and day of the week. But it was a good trade in the first place. Made even sweeter by how good of a first season taylor has had.
