Top ten pick or something of equivalent value. He's somebody the Lions probably wouldn't entertain offers on though; they're building quite a good midfield and he's sort of the missing link this year. What would Rich be worth to get out of Brisbane?
I suppose Shuey is one of very few dynamic mids we have, albeit still inconsistent.Really? I thought Scooter was better than Shuey?
Well from what I've seen he is
Not gonna happen to valuable to the Lions futureWhat would Rich be worth to get out of Brisbane?

Probably something along the lines of Joel SelwoodWhat would Rich be worth to get out of Brisbane?
If Coniglio were out of contract (like he is next year)...
What's the asking price? Assuming West Coast's first pick is around #10 or so. I'm guessing it's unders even if he does declare he wants out.
Cant do that as the F/S is done before trade week starts for this very reason of manipulating trades.Trade your second and then use your third pick ( now second) on waterman. All you need to do is use your next available pick after a club nominates him. Doubt a team within the first 6-8 would pick him
I know he's not worth this at all, but I'm not sure I'd accept even pick 1 for Rich. He's an important player on field as well as our vice captain, has bought into what we're doing and has two years left on his contract. He's what Michael Voss calls a 'fabric player'.Top ten pick or something of equivalent value. He's somebody the Lions probably wouldn't entertain offers on though; they're building quite a good midfield and he's sort of the missing link this year.
No way is he worse than Chaplin or Grimes
The fact that Chaplin came 3rd in the B+F last year says more about Richmond than it does about Chaplin. Using that as an example when Daniel ******* Jackson won it is, well, idiotic
In your opinion.
Would West Coast really be interested in trading Shuey?
How bout Andrew Gaff?
Would gladly give our first pick for either, with maybe a second rounder back our way (debatable?), especially if Frawley leaves and we end up with 2 top 5 picks.
Same with Jack Steven. If saints want another top pick I'd give Melbourne's for him also, in a heartbeat.
A late pick for Malceski so as not to mess with our Frawley Compo, maybe 3rd/4th rounder?
Would any teams be interested in Sam Blease? I like the kid, but can hardly crack a senior game. Same with Tapscott? Apart from that I don't see many players on our list that could attract anything that we could afford to lose, unless the offer was ridiculous. I can't see too many ridiculous offers for Melbourne players coming our way.
I'd be interested in Richard Douglas from Adelaide, for our second rounder? and maybe a 3rd/4th rounder back our way? I think Douglas is probably worth around the 25-30 mark at his best, and our second rounder is a bit high. Adelaide fans?
From all reports Melbourne had a bit crack at David Myers last year, but Essendon weren't remotely interested. Given his better form this year I couldn't see them parting with him now.
Any other teams willing to part something for a top 5 pick?
We have the 4th - I would not label ours as elite. I think you just need to watch the weekends games to see that. What's wrong with you. As it stands now statistically Essendon has the third rated defence - defence is the least of Essendon's issues - There is no point arguing the inarguable. It's the attack which is the issue - Rated 14th.
Don't see why it wouldn't get done? I'd trade Hill for Selwood in a heartbeat.
Well, Brad Hill.
On the weekend a few bomber fans noticed the lack of a "tall" medium defender. What would James Gwilt cost St. Kilda fans?
Any nibbles for Suckling though?
Could see the Dogs interested in him, Maybe the Tigers
Despite having Walters and Ballantyne, I still think the Dockers could use Jeff Garlett.
Swap for Sheridan or Crozier?
I think the above is a better return than anything we are likely to get from the Eagles (given their second round is off the table).
Fantastic. Definitely interested if that's the case.Unless he's recently signed a contract with the Saints, I believe he's an unrestricted free agent.
Whats he worth?
Fantastic. Definitely interested if that's the case.
