Trade hypotheticals

For Lynch, I doubt we'd do that. Lynch has great work ethic and is very useful as a high half forward flanker. He's best 22 and more use to us than an early 30s pick that you'd probably get. Griffin hasn't really played this year, what's up with him? I doubt we'd be interested though.

As for Jenkins, not a chance in the world. Outside of Walker and Podsiadly, our tall forward stocks consist of Shaun McKernan (has talent but just cannot put it together) and Lewis Johnston (again has the talent, but apparently has questionable work ethic and attitude). These two are likely to be delisted (although one might be saved purely due to our lack of tall forwards). Considering Podsiadly will almost definitely retire by the end of 2015 and Walker has returned from an ACL, there's no way we'd trade Jenkins, who's on track for 40+ goals this year.
Yeah with Sandi and Clarke being our top 2 rucks there's no room for Griffen. He returned mid season from that ACL and has been good in the WAFL but I think might be shopped around.

Yeah I didn't think you guys would trade Jenkins. I watched him play a few weeks back and liked what I saw. Although we are probably looking more for a number 1 tall forwards than a 2nd or 3rd which is what Jenkins would play best at

I'd take Lynch for a second rounder. Would Adelaide be interested in having Griffen back for him?

Also, any chance you'd give up Josh Jenkins?

Lynch and Jenkins are going nowhere.

Both are key players, esepcially lynch. Jenkins is still inconsistent, but does some freakish things each week.

We are setting up our forward line around those two and tex, we wouldn't even take a late first rounder for either of them.

Now if your interested in petrenko or johnston, what would you offer? Johnston is just lacking opportunity, and he has a work ethic/attitude problem that lyon could fix

Griffin is interesting. I think Port might throw their 2nd rounder (30ish)

As good a player as he can be I think not playing him since he's come back shows he's not your best 22 and depreciates his value

I don't really know enough about them to judge. I don't know if we would take on another player with an attitude problem's

Good questions. He has talent, just doesn't seem to be liked by Sando (well not picked often). Second rounder too?

Kennedy for Lyons?
Our only Adelaide boy is Fantasia (hands off), what would Essendon need to do? Adelaide don't have any glaring holes on their list tbh.

The following crows are out of of contract at the end of 2014 (at this stage)

Who wants them and what will you trade?

Contracted until end 2014
Shaun Mckernan
Jared Petrenko
Matthew Jaensch
Jarryd Lyons
Sam Shaw
Brodie Martin
Tom Lynch
Angus Graham
Sam Siggins
Rory Atkins
Ben Rutten (10+ years)
Jason Porplyzia (9yrs)
Lewis Johnston (2 years)
Luke Thompson (?)
I would trade a late 3rd rounder for Johnston

Hawk fans; what would Litherland be worth in a trade? We really need to inject some speed in to the team and I've loved his dash in the Hawk games I've seen of late. Would you say he's established himself in the side now, or could he be looking for further opportunities at another team given that he's played less than 20 games at 22 years old?

Not that i want to trade him but what would people be willing to give up for stef martin, has been in great form in the ruck

I'm sure we could wrangle a deal that nets us your compo pick for James.

Birchall/Suckling one of our young mids (Langford withstanding) and our first pick?
