I imagine there would be a vast difference between what he is worth and what we'd be willing to accept for him.

Trading a player after injury troubles and some form issues = spending the year in the VFL would not be a wise move especially when he has shown he can excel at AFL and has a skillset that fill a difficiency in our list.

Personally (and I am aware it is not a too popular opinion on the North board) I would like to see what clubs would offer for Levi Greenwood; a player that I rate highly individually however, who is unfortunately surplus in our inside-heavy midfield. I think we are better balanced with only 3 of Swallow, Ziebell and Cunnington in the side and regrettably for Levi, he is the least versatile (but conversely has been most consistent this year).

I just don't think we'd trade Talia, nor do I think he'll want to leave. His grandfather played in our one and only premiership, and he's a diehard supporter of the club. The trade talk has only come about because he's been playing VFL, working on a few areas of his game. Those that have spoken to him say he's incredibly understanding and very happy with his position. Knows he has some things to work on, but also realises that he'll get opportunities when his form demands them. Not to mention the fact that he has more value to us than on the market, and that we need to be adding talented KPPs, not getting rid of them.

I just can't see him moving. Players that have shown more have spent longer time in weaker reserves sides than Footscray and still stayed put. Don't think he'll leave.

I'd certainly do that Shoey and Suckers for 5... Gives the hawks a glimmer of hope bailing Petracca. If we can nab Lamb, Or Weller with our other pick I think the Hawks would be flying

More likely I think we would on trade both picks 5-6 &16-18 and Hallahan for Dangerfield.

Heppell's mummy might want him out of there, but Dyson himself will know as well as anyone that what went wrong was the fault of a regime within the club, not the club itself, and that he's going to be an outstanding player for Essendon long after the likes of Hird are gone.


I'd pay almost anything for him, but he absolutely will never leave, irrespective of the circumstances within the club.

Mitchell gets 50 touches in NEAFL game. Well let's face it boys this comp is really the equivalent to Victorian Auskick!! Even someone like Jordan Lisle is kicking bags of 4 to 8 & 10 -18 marks in NEAFL but the moment he plays AFL he is lucky to average 1 goal and gets about 10 touches but 8 of those are shared between his left and right nut!! Oh and I think he has marked the ball about 15 times in all 7 games hahahaha . . Don't judge Mitchell off NEAFL. . Swans dont, hence his 50 touches and no call up. .
