what the,........How's this HYPOTHETICAL DEAL.
Carlton gain - Tom Boyd
Richmond gain - Will Hoskin Elliot
GWS gain - Gibbs, Pick 6, pick 9?
Carlton don't do these type of trades. We are happy to win/win but we would prefer getting another Menzel or Cripps in the draft and trade a 2nd/3rd round pick for another Docherty.Everitt has been really good for us and got him for pick 32. These are the trades we will go for.
I tend to think a promising young tall key defender and 40 goal a year small forward is enough to snare Boyd if he nominates Carlton and his manager forces it through. Wouldn't even offer a pick.. if GWS refuse then they can have Boyd for another season unhappy and get him for even cheaper next year

The tigers are keen on Lycett.
Doubt he will leave the Weagles though
With us?apparently agreed to terms on a new deal, about to sign

What happens next year when he wants out of the Saints?Watson and Garett for Boyd? You've got to be joking! I think the saints are the only realistic destination for Tom Boyd if he doesn't stay at the giants, we are the only ones in melbourne who can present a fair trade. Carlton would have nothing they would be willing to give up that gws would want, and if you say PSD next year saints will most likely have a pick before yours and more salary cap space, no chance he gets past us.

What happens next year when he wants out of the Saints?![]()
De Boer, Suban, Clancee Pearce. Wondering if anyone would be keen to trade for any of them?
Tawny? I prefer shirazAlso said he loves Port.

He will be there next year for sure. we are not heavy on fast running back line players.Johannisen really expected to be playing in the last couple of weeks and isn't, I'd be surprised if he's playing for us next season.
Wonder if the WA clubs are interested.
and thank our lucky stars we got MacraeYeah you're right, both Plowman and O'Rourke were both a bit of a surprise at picks 2 and 3. Toumpas and Grundy were the two tipped to go at those picks until the last few days before the draft. Not many picked them as top three talent.

O'Rourke has stated he somehow wants to get a deal to go to the dogs, great mate of macrae ive heard.I have heard the Pies are Keen on John O’Rourke from GWS.
That be a Hard Trade to be done for the Pies. With almost Certain to have the 1st Round used on Moore
yes Melbourne thought happy times also when they selected Watts, Sully, Toumpus alsoEven last year as an under-ager he was impressive. Picking up 22-25 touches a game with a couple of goals, but his improvement has been phenomenal. I'd be licking my lips as a Dee's supporter.
You'd be effectively bringing in to your team next year..
Petracca
Pick 5
Jesse Hogan
Exciting times.

That makes no sense to me what SO EVERBulldogs should make a deal with GWS
Picks 19-20
for pick 6 Lever who they want...
Would mean trading a few out for them but would work
Also GC have picks 14-23 they could swap for pick 6
pick 14 --Weller
pick 23 --Elliss
great win for all

Agree with troll remark...lolI'd like to say nice troll.....nah **** it.
haha no wayAdam Cooney or Shaun Higgins and a 3rd round pick for John Butcher?
Would the swans accept the cats 1st pick (16ish) and Travis Varcoe for Tom Mitchell.
No way!!!As an absolute hypothetical, 12 months on and you are GWS and Western Bulldogs recruiters sitting down for a coffee.
Would you do a straight swap Boyd for Bonti?
