And by the way, how does GWS have that extra end of 1st round pick?

FFS, when is this charity ever going to end?

I put this up on our board, not sure what others think. Turbocat didn't mind it! -

If we offered Melbourne Jaksch plus pick 4 and our end of round 1 they might swap pick 2 . Then we might go to St Kilda with O'Rourke plus pick 2 knowing we will take Petracca leaving them with McCartin. Then Melbourne may swap pick 3 to Swans for Tom Mitchell. In this -

GWS get Petracca but lose pick 4, end of round 1 and Jaksch, O'Rourke

St Kilda get McCartin and O'Rourke but give up pick 1

Melbourne get Jaksch and Mitchell plus our end of round 1

Sydney get pick 3 but lose Tom Mitchell (is he worth pick 3?? In this draft maybe)

And now I have a headache!! Not sure if this works and is even rational but anyways I tried!!

Don't see that happening personally. Melbourne I believe will want mids & I think #3 is overs for mitchell

I'm really not sure. At a guess though he'd be in the gun to be delisted. In saying that though I'd expect there will be enough interest in him for a trade to get done because he's too good and too young for a club not to take a punt.

At a guess either your 3rd rounder or an upgrade from our second to your second (something like Hunt and pick 36 for pick 28) would be around the mark. I'd expect some team to give up a pick in the 40s for him so I highly doubt your 4th rounder would be enough.

We've actually got a number of players in that bracket where they've shown enough to deserve a shot somewhere but they're likely to be under pressure to keep a spot on our list. Guys like Hunt, Brown, Walker, Schroder and Stringer would all fall into that category. I'd imagine we'll trade whoever we don't want to keep for whatever pick upgrades we can get.
Yeah that's what I thought. Watch this space I guess.

For #3 we would want Mitchell & maybe Zac Jones. Is that too much, probably but I think #3 for Mitchell alone is overs & there are questions about his body

I don't see that trade going through.

Like I said, I think #21-22 as it stands is fair but dependent upon the Stretch F/S situation.

Your thoughts on that?

The Crows would turn that down. Kerridge was a pick in the eay 20's who has proven to be worth it. Just getting the same pick back again is not more value but it's more risk.

Kerridge and Wright for Toumpas and Trengove?

Ultimately it's not what we think they're worth, competition will dictate where they fall.

We do have a number of blokes on the fringes such as O'Rourke, Jaksch, Whiley, Golds, Williams, Wilson, Sumner that should attract interest along with our ruckmen Giles and Phillips.

Should be a very interesting trade week!
Wouldn't mind Phillips for a late pick.

Wouldn't get jones. Probably membrey would be the other offered

With the Hawks having plenty of cap space room at the end of the year it's likely we will target an established midfielder. I know there's been talk recently about Brisbane potentially offering Dayne Beams a huge contract, but Hawthorn would be an ideal fit for Beams given that in two years time none of Hodge, Mitchell, Burgoyne and Sewell will be playing AFL. I reckon he would slot in nicely in our midfield. Obviously he'd cost a fair bit given he's already an A-grade midfielder. What would Collingwood want for Dayne Beams?
I did hear that Adams from gws was given a contract of 400k to go to the pies which was the same money that beams is on so he might be gettable if this is actually true.

Pick 3 for Mitchell and Membery would certainly be fair.

Tim will certainly be keen to get back to Victoria.

I think they would also be happy to simply take Brayshaw

Imagine that, the Swans ending up with Brayshaw AND Heeney. Gawd.

Would be an out and out rort.

Considering Heeney would Likely go top 5...

Precisely why Eddie is suggesting there is an unfair advantage there.

Not charity, that was a compo pick traded off GC a while ago. Adelaide's or Brisbane's I guess.

No chance.

I can't see it happening either. Would prefer to stay at pick 2 and take Petracca/Brayshaw and look to trade pick three for another ready to go mid. The Mitchell and Membrey for pick 3 deal mentioned earlier would just about work for me.

I would have said late 2nd rounder to mid third. 30-40 I spoze. Certainly hasn't hurt his value today

What did he do today? Kick a bag in a VFL televised game? I missed it. Not even sure who played.

7 i think it was. Few clubs would find a spot for him i would think.
Well, his 6 last week to go with that, clubs will go after him.

Im abit behind, i heard his form was up and down in the VFL, his worth has upped now though.
