I think Hannath will either be traded or delisted at seasons end for that reason. He isn't a required player really. A 3rd rounder would be good compensation

What would you try and get? A player from another club or a pick? I suppose he's mature so a team like Collingwood may try hard to get him. Melbourne were keen on him before he was drafted

I think your drugs might be stronger than the Bombers ones... Carlisle is a good player but I wouldn't consider him to be worth a top 10 pick.

no idea
but for collingwood we would probably chase a pick or upgrade
& also for melbourne I'm not sure what they would give unless it was picks

Quite a bit less, given that he's only 6 months younger, is quite a bit shorter, doesn't necessarily have as much versatility as Carlisle and has performed for a much shorter time at AFL level. That said, aside from his game against us a few weeks ago, I've seen very little of McGovern, so I'm not necessarily a good one to ask that. What do you think he's worth?

There are plenty of teams who could have a top 10 pick who would be crying out for someone like Carlisle though. If I were Gold Coast for instance and had pick 9 or 10 I'd give it up for Carlisle no worries I reckon. He could just about complete their 22 and with so many around the 200cm mark who are very agile, they would be bloody hard to beat in the air any time soon. With Carlisle and Thompson around the 200cm mark they'd also have two who were an ideal size to combat the 201cm Boyd and 198cm Patton for years to come, for instance.

McGovern is 195cm which is decent.

Although obviously Carlisle a fair bit taller, and significantly better.

If he's got the possibility of a two year ban hanging over his head, not sure why anyone would give up a top 10 pick. If that is all sorted before then and they are found not guilty, then I think around 10 is on the mark - not that he will leave.
