What would it take for the tigers to get Myers?

Would love to have him play Mayne's role in the forward line so we can push Mayne down back!

Well he won’t get many games at the Swans

That's the thing I think with Membry.

If he wants to leave the club will probably not ask for much because they know he's going to be depth for them only. And because of that he probably will want to leave.

Pick 7 for Myers?

Explain how in any world is he worth that?

put it this way, If i asked for the man in your avatar, you'd say there's no way we'd trade him and probably give me a similar sort of answer.

There is absolutely no way we'd trade David Myers unless we got an offer that made us stand up and take notice, given he hasn't been dropped since Hird came to the club and the coaches love him to bits.

In short, I consider him pretty much untouchable

Essendon have persisted with Myers, he's looking the goods and on the verge of becoming something great. Richmond have no expendable players that Essendon would see more value in. Pick 20-something won't cut it. Pick 7 may be overs but you would need to pay overs to lure him.

EDIT: I'm saying that he's worth a top 10 pick to Essendon, pick 15-18 would be closer to his actual worth.

Also consider that this is Essendon you're trying to trade with, so they'd probably Dustin Martin and your top pick :p

But in all seriousness Myers won't go anywhere. Just looks about ready to explode.

Probably fair enough, would beat bit like Conca for us.

What would the Sydney mob take for Tim Membry?
Probably a late 2nd/early 3rd sort of thing, though if he did nominate Freo we probably won't get much more than a 3rd rounder.

One thing that might drive his price up is a potential bidding war.

What do people think Sam Reid is worth? I understand he is contracted, so he wont be cheap. But if the Lions offer him an upgraded contract and the number one KPF role, being feed by the very promising midfield we have, you'd think it would be a tempting offer.

I'd suggest pick 4 for Reid and a fringe 22 player - if we gave our 2nd round as well Mitchell maybe?

I'd probs say given he's on contract a first rounder. I'd probably take #4 + fringe 22 for Reid, NFI if others would.

There is no way I would give up pick 4 + fringe for Reid!

He has shown glimpses but is very overrated IMO.

I'm pretty sure he was offering 4 for Reid+player.

There's no way Reid us worth 4 and another olayer

Aah misread it.

In that case, think it depends on who said "fringe player" actually is.

Mitchell?
Too far. AFAIC given they're both on contract and are young and have shown promise Top 10 picks for both would be the amount taken to get them.
