Every club would be looking at Lowden. He's stuck behind Hale, who may or may not retire, Ceglar & McEvoy.

Would that not be a breach of the rules?
He's not a free agent & isn't it only against the rules if he signs something?
Adelaide did the same with Eddie Betts @ the end of 2012 (a full year before he became a FA). Teams do it all the time.

I'm guessing WCE want Lowden?

Port would give up a 2nd rounder for Lycett but the problem is it might be slight unders. (1st rounder is too much)
If we trade Butcher to the Bulldogs for a 2nd or 3rd rounder it might give us something to work with.
No way would your first be to much if anything I would say its unders.

What would you want for gibbs.

Sydney to get James Frawley to replace the aging Richards and Grundy in free agency.

Sydney to trade Mitchell to Melbourne for pick 3 and Reid to Bulldogs for pick 6 and Jetta to Freo for pick 17.

swans will get the player they want, salary cap relief, 3 first round picks to go with Isaac Heeney.

Yeah I dont think thatd be in sydneys best interest. Too many outs

I rate him in the mid 20's

If Port miss the top 4 we could end up with something like pick 13 (Essendon have no 1st rounder so we go up another spot)
Obviously our second (early 30's) would be unders but If Port find a way to get an early 20's pick I'm sure that would be good enough.

apparently wce are inquiring about some rucks at hawthorn

makes me think lycett looks like going. what would port/crows give up for him?

Port will give their first rounder possibly with a swap of later picks back in their favour.

Why in the heck would WC go for another ruck even if Lycett goes anyway, they still have Nat and Sinclair, plus a very tall forward line, they need midfielders.

and what happens if one gets injured? you need depth!!!! with cox retiring and if lycett leaves they literally have no one apart from nic nat and sinclair

Why ? I see them having a pretty damn good midfield and all they need is a power forward like Patton to be very competitive . Funny you say that because I see them have success before the tigers

Players aren't wanna go to the dogs when they can go to big clubs or clubs near the top of the ladder.

They are still a long way off just like we are.

Why wouldn't players go to the Dogs when they've got Libba, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Bontempelli, Stringer etc all coming through.

Believe it or not, players might actually be excited by the up and coming players at the Dogs? Impossible I know

Mate it's just my opinion.

I would think a lot of players would like to play for a big club in Melbourne, impossible I know

Frankly with the state of our list and specifically, our midfield, an up and coming full forward would be mad not to take a big deal from us.

Carey's talking shit, I'd think. Not for that reason, just that I can't see us making that offer.

It is my opinion that no one wants to go to to the dogs?
How would you know? How can such a thing be an opinion?

You can be of the opinion that the Bulldogs aren't an attractive destination, which would be ironic, but you wouldn't have the first clue about where players want to go.
