More of a Winger/Half Forward i would think?Yeah I'm not sure.
Would you say Croz is an inside mid? Probably more of a winger

What would it take to get Neale from us? He'd be great for the Hawks (hate to say it)More of a Winger/Half Forward i would think?
Maybe Early second round on Form, but then his height comes into calculations :/What would it take to get Neale from us? He'd be great for the Hawks (hate to say it)

Oh mate you got a deal :') ahahaOnly if you take Patton and Boyd off our hands
Yep not happening unfortunately.Hahaha no. A late 2nd rounder for a 5th in line ruckman?
Where did he end up in your B&F in 2012? Solid last year - break out this year. But we may have difference of opinions what constitutes good.
Go and ask the Saint supporters to swap McCartin for Hooker.
Terrible result for GWS - Saints also have a hole in defence and will most likely get the number 1 pick. Zero chance they would do it either.
Take your fingers out of your ears for 5 minutes and explain the difference between - GWS prying Hooker out with pick 1 and "I didn't say Hooker would attract the number 1 pick."
It will be very interesting indeed! While plenty of us on our board here had been floating the idea of us potentially trading McEvoy last year, it still came as a bit of a shock to most, especially those outside our club of course, when it happened.
This year Armitage is probably the one who is getting talked about a fair bit in a similar way, but if he keeps on playing like he did on the weekend (now that he looks to be back to full fitness after that long lay-off), he will probably be more chance of captaining us next year, rather than playing for someone else. There has been talk that Richmond are pretty keen on him though (given their dearth of "inside bulls" in the ideal age bracket) and Brett Anderson said the other day that his manager was shopping him around (despite him being signed for a couple of years, IIFC).
Jack Steven another possible option if we got an offer that we just considered too good to refuse (ie. a top 5 pick, or its equivalent), but his very injury-interrupted year will probably ensure that doesn't happen.
Lenny Hayes retiring probably make us less likely to part with either of those two though. We may have been a lot more inclined to consider them had Lenny stuck around for that one more year, giving the likes of Dunstan, Ross, Saunders and Weller that extra year to get established. That said, we may look for this year's equivalent of Daniel Cross, to do the same sort of job.
What we may just do is put it out there that we are open to almost anything (which most clubs will now know is the case after last year) and wait to see if we get an offer that we think is worth taking up.
We have the 4th - I would not label ours as elite. I think you just need to watch the weekends games to see that.
And to think that the Saints madly chased Mitch Brown in 2012 - Hooker was offered up to WC who had a 3 year contract on the table - Stkilda offered picks 24 and 25 - Hooker declined the offer and Brown stayed at WC. I posted at the time that I couldn't understand why St Kilda didn't chase Hooker. A strange move.
Why would you even be discussing trading Armitage or Stevens ? - Right age bracket - Probably in your top 6 to 8 players - You would gain nothing int hsi scenario.
Armitage and Steven are far better than McEvoyProbably because he was from WA and that we thought he wouldn't move if it was to another melbourne club. We probably didn't rate him at the time also.
Worked out well with the McEvoy trade who was in the same bracket and the same quality.
HmmmmAdelaide send:
Jarryd Lyons
Shaun McKernan
Brent Reilly
to the
Western Bulldogs for:
Michael Talia
Ayce Cordy
4th Round Pick
Adelaide get a key back to help fill the loss of Ben Rutten.
The Bulldogs get a grunt inside mid to boost their very good young midfield stocks.
Adelaide and Bulldogs echange young Ruck/Forwards who have seem to stagnate/not live up to their potential. A change of scenery could be good,.
The Dogs get an experience Half Back, possibly to fill the void of Shaun Higgins and add some experience to a young team. Adelaide receive cap help and a jump in the later rounds draft order.
What would the Sydney mob take for Tim Membry?
Sydney to get James Frawley to replace the aging Richards and Grundy in free agency.
Sydney to trade Mitchell to Melbourne for pick 3 and Reid to Bulldogs for pick 6 and Jetta to Freo for pick 17.
swans will get the player they want, salary cap relief, 3 first round picks to go with Isaac Heeney.
We've got plenty of inside mids but seem to want to keep them all.Burgoyne 31
Mitchell 31
Hodge 30
Sewell 30
Someone please sell us an inside midfielder with pace at the end of this year. We've got plenty of cash left over thanks to Franklin's departure.![]()
If I were Adelaide I'd be working hard to get Toumpas home. Get him out of Melbourne before it's too late.
Your first might just be enough if Melbourne want to cut their losses. Maybe you can sweeten the deal for them.

I think asking for their second might be a bit cheeky.Jarryd Lyons and Pick 10
For Toumpas and their 2nd.
