Do you feel Sinclair is firstly 'tradeable" and secondly is he best as a 1st or 2nd ruck? Sydney need a first ruck not a 2nd.

He's not a first ruck, he is the valuable 2nd ruck who can play forward. Pyke is your first ruck isn't he?
Of those I mentioned he's the best forward.
And yeah, he is on the table, nisbett i think mentioned that. However he's contracted for 2 years so he won't be going cheaply which will turn clubs off
If we lost him we'd be looking for a "cam wood" recruit for a year or two so that the likes of McGovern don't have to ruck.

Not at all. Mullett is okay but he is exactly that, okay. You don't trade pick 24 for an okay player. You would get a more talented player there. Mullet is worth a 3rd, but you will probably accept an early 4th. At best the Pies 3rd, at best.
I'd Put my left nut on the fact that "IF" Mullett was to leave it wont be for less than a 2nd

That is what I find a little weird, didn't you sign him a few months ago for 2 years. I'm not sure Sydney would bother. Pyke is a better version of that 2nd ruck (no offence meant). Sydney need a first ruck, it is where they were killed. Now whether that is Giles not sure. I'm hoping Sydney are at the very least considering Ryder.

Then the Pies would say...'thanks but no thanks'. Rightfully so. Mullett is exactly like a few players in that he is worth way more internally. He is solid but solid but not that special players don't get traded for almost 1st rounders, especially in a strong draft. If he was worth that much he would have played in the finals series.

Ryder aside, pyke is as good as anyone available as a first ruck
And yeah we did sign him, because we desperately need ruck depth. It also gives is a stronger position at the trade table. I'm happy to keep Sinclair, however he is too good for WAFL footy, but no chance of being in our best 22 without injury - so for his own career it is better he moves

Well the hit outs to advantage were pathetic and they went down the Hawks mids throats. It is why I rate Pyke, but I rate him more as a forward who plays 30% ruck rather than the other way. I'd be having a go at Ryder. What have they got to lose, at least ask!
3rd in the rising star in 2013, tough to judge him soley on this year coming off an injury and no pre season. Maybe valued more internally as i think most players are, but also contracted so no need to trade.
Pretty sure North are very happy to keep him.

North can keep him, and go for it. 3rd in the Rising Star, well so? As I said if he was worth an early pick (24) he would be playing in the Finals. Valued more at North. i'd be absolutely gobsmacked if Collingwood offer more than a 3rd and that is overs/even.

Your last line could be the trade- Lumumba for Mullett and that would be about even and a win-win trade.

Stuff all. GWS would probably be happy for a throw away pick, maybe a 4th that they could use in another trade. Giles has given them wonderful service, he'll get to the club of his choice.

I thinks he's still got one more year he just wants out
Last time I checked Mullett was about $8 per Kilo mainly used as a bait fish but in this instance you are hardly likely to catch anything with it.
Bris need something the Pies want to add to 4 for Beams
Pies want a player not pick
Mullett would step into Lumumbas role easily (Pies have shown interest)
North would want decent compensation for a contracted player (best 24 if not best 22)

Maybe but GWS would be sensible to trade him to the club of choice, he has been wonderful for them in a tough period. 3rd rounder is plenty.
