Kingsley and Mackie for Brent Reilly or Marty Mattner (and maybe a third round draft pick) would do me nicely. Didn't put a whole lot of thought into it but at least I would be happy :D

would also be interested in
Doughty
Knights
Vince
Douglas
Porplyzia
but they would probably need icing.

no chance with marty mattner, he is a gun and could be next captain.
the ones highlighted also slim-nil chance, knights is a vic boy but is loving it at the crows and just signed a new contract.
maybe douglas in a few years possibly if travis varcoe comes good a deal could be done then.

i would have though meesen too, but he just signed a new 2 year contact.
i though maybe a reilly, skipworth or a jericho for perhaps james kelly or cameron ling??

also a rumour doing the rounds in adelaide was kent kingsley, see how he goes for one year, if he does sh1t delist him and hentschel will be back for '08
Wouldn't touch Skipworth or Jericho, they are crud.

To be honest, Adelaide doesn't have much theyd be willing to offer that we'd be interested in. Your midfield is awesome but seasonedand no one if the forward line gets the mouth watering either, except for Trent Potential, but he is injured.

Mackie and Kent for your first rounder.. 15 or 16???

or perhaps Kent/Mackie and our second rounder 25? for your first rounder.

well never happen mate.

Got a question is Wojcinski up for grabs. Cause there have been specualtions of a 3 way deal betweenus you and collingwood. So I was thinking.

Carlton get: Wojcinski pick 7
Geelong get: tarrant pick 17 and pick 28 i think
Collingwood get: Stevens and pick 59

wat do u think?

WE DON'T WANT TARRANT !! If you want him, trade for him and leave us out.

Wojcinski>Tarrant

Come on, that's rediculous. Simpson, Scottland, Murphy, and Waite for starters would all be part of our best 22.

so would big fat Lance, possibley Walker (we love guys who can't kick) and also Nick Stevens, oh and Bryce Gibbs, and Kouta.

Hi Cat fans.

Trade 3
Houlihan and pick 19->Geelong
Pick 7->Carlton

None of these are totally unrealistic, and would help both teams out. What do you think about them? Also, if you disagree with them, what do you think is realistically a good trade for pick 7?
I HEARD HOULIHAN IS UNTOUCHABLE AS IN NOBODY WOULD TOUCH HIM

they should ban all houlihans from playing footy fullstop never seen a good one and never will

Done. We Get Tarrent and only lose 10 places in the Draft. End up with 3 picks in the second round 17, 25, 28. Monica is a fringe player and we need to take a Gamble. Would prefer it to be Mackie though seeing as we have a million HFF and very few defenders with pace

Tarrant Ablett Chapman
Ablett Ottens Johnson

That forward line line will do me. Throw in Hawkins and trade off Kingsley, Mackie, Gardner, Playfair and who ever else wants to go. Re-structure the whole Joint

Hi Cat fans.

As you know, the Blues are in desparate need of a young ruckman. Pick 1 will not be used for Leuenberger, and by our next pick, number 17, he will be gone. We need to get our hands on another early pick, and the Cats have pick 7. Here are some ideas that I have thought up

Trade 1
Stevens and pick 19->Geelong
Pick 7->Carlton

Trade 2
Fisher and pick 17->Geelong
Pick 7->Carlton

Trade 3
Houlihan and pick 19->Geelong
Pick 7->Carlton

None of these are totally unrealistic, and would help both teams out. What do you think about them? Also, if you disagree with them, what do you think is realistically a good trade for pick 7?

The thing you must remember is we lack cream players as much as you do. As much as Carlton has missed out #1 picks our lowest pick in 16 years is P7. Now we have P7 in a year when the top10 players could have been top5 players in thin drafts.Eg There is no doubting his ability but Marc Murphy may have been anywhere in the top ten this year because there are just so many quality tall players. The deal would have to be excellent for us to give you P7

Now I know Im preaching to the choir , you know this because you want our pick. Im happy enough to sit back and take Leuy or Sellars or Selwood or whoever , match him to our FS , pick a couple of gun runners , add a couple of our Rookies to our list and we would be in good shape. I would prefer to have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds and do this by trading a player or two but Im not fussed. My deal would not not be to your liking but hey its a sellers market so..

Stevens , P17 , P19 and P51 to Geelong

Spencer , P7 and P57 to Carlton

NO, not done we lose out of this deal- we get a failure of a forward and fall several spots in a good draft.

I'd rather keep pick 7 and not end up with Stevens - the wooden spoon team is trying to unload him, what does that tell you?

It's bloody funny seeing the deals some people are coming up with to get there hands on top 10 picks.

Get it through your head, unless you're giving up a high quality player, you won't be getting a top 10 pick.

Every club wants as many high picks as they can this year. Only ruthless deals will accomplish this.

Mate stop jumping on everyone else's opinion. You don't like Tarrant we get it!!!!

Tarrant and 3 early 2nd round picks for a first round pick and a fringe player is a dead set steal. Especially with Hawkins to come.

I thought only Collingwood supporters were blind about him.

WE Are Geelong said:
Kade Simpson for our pick 25...I would consider that.

Waite and Scotland would not make the Geelong side...

Murphy and Fervola would of course yet neither are going to be traded by the blues unless Smorgon gets involved and has another one of his brain fades...

Geelongs pick 7 is as was mentioned above looking for a top class midfielder...which could well be a ruckman too...either way someone playing in the middle of the ground, thats our priority.

Certainly pick 7 for a top class young midfielder. I doubt you'd get Simpson for pick 25.

C'mon.

Lance would walk in - and Geelong would give the keys to the city if Waite went there. At least Simpson goes and get the ball and Walker would be the highest paid player at geelong - except for Nathan Ablett -.

Do not overate your list. It is slow and non competitive - except when there is nothing to play for - or when the Prada 50% off sale has finished.

I'm sick and tired of all these handbag quibs. How many Bulldog players have lost a vital organ backing into a pack? Oh yeah, zip, zero, zilch.

Now go and play with the traffic.

We got within a point and beat, the quickest team in the AFL. We are harly slow and uncompetitive.

And when we lost by a point we had no Scarlett, Harley, Playfair or Kingsley either!

I was thinking seeing how Kingsley has quit Geelong and plays well against the Bombers, Sheedy's always liked Kelly, and how Sheedy said earlier this year that he might trade their first draft pick if the right trade came along, how about Kingsley and Kelly to Essendon for the Number 2 pick?

You are dreaming. Those two would even get us a top 10 selection let alone number 2.

That's because our Doggies know how to protect themsleves. Oh yeah and because our guys are too fast to allow packs to form!
