For mine, the best trade I could find was;

ATL: Bibby + Jamal Crawford + Pick + Cash
PHX: Nash + Frye

FREE STEVE NASH!

I like this for a number of reasons.

Mike Bibby won a National Championship with Arizona and would be playing to fans who have good memories of him. A good combo with Dragic until Phx can get a PG they trust to run the team.

Crawford can score but is also an expiring contract which will give PHX the chance to rebuild.

The pick ATL give up obviously won't be lottery and even a chance to be around the 20 mark so they aren't giving away heaps.

Nash turns ATL into contenders.

Frye is a player who will play for another 5 NBA teams before his career is over.

Anyone have an e-mail address for Atlanta's GM? They need to make this happen.

Are those players the Nuggets getting expiring contracts? Not sure that they'd want any of those for long term except Taj Gibson.

Also, Portland giving up Rudy & Pryz & 1st rounder to get Deng? They have Batum and Rudy is cover for Roy who isn't playing.

I don't think they would but I think they should. They are going nowhere. Their best players are ancient. Let VC go. Get Jamal Crawfords expiring contract and they get 20+ mil to clear from their salary. Next season begin rebuilding with 2 top 20 picks and a star free agent.

Only way a deal happens with Atlanta is if Josh Smith comes back the other way.
