The plan at Perth Oval was to revamp Perth's clubhouse, have an Eagles museum and something for the locals. But only the Eagles buildings have been funded at this stage. The rest is a pipe dream and was only put on the plans to get approval.

My recollection is that while too slight in 2013, Sutty had an excellent 2014. He defended talls like Darling, ran into space to create counterattacks and was threatening with a long, accurate kick. Whether confidence, or injuries or being used more to lock down now, it's been a while since he's had that consistency.

Sutty was down this year on confidence and skills. The thing that killed him the most though was through the decline of Ibbo, the injuries to Johnno and A.Pearce meant he played deeper in defence. Sutty isn't a third man up or intercept machine which is why he struggle so much. He probably was as confused about his role as we were. Hopefully with a more speedy, disposal conscious team (Bennell, Walters, B/S.Hill, Crozier etc) then he should be back to his best.
