Hi guys not to sure on whether this Anderson has some cred. So here is what Ive put to him so far. Let me know if the posts to long but thought you may be interested.

With all the free Salary Cap Space do you think the Hawks are going to save it for next years FAs, go after a big fish this year or top up players on unders?
That and other clubs are looking at loading up for next year's draft

Any interest from any clubs regarding Chris Yarran and is it still likely he will be moved on?
My mail is very strong that he is a required player

Has Brad Sewell attracted much attention and if so who?
Essendon which surprises me

Who is the most likely to get Chapman?
Essendon. Carlton and Hawks also meeting with him.

What pick is Savage worth and is Carlton the main suitor
Savage has five clubs after him and he is worth around the 25 mark.

Brisbane Lions list manager on trade radio said they will be meeting with Hawthorn later today to further Billy Longer discussions. Want pick 18 and "something else" - didn't really specify whether it would be another pick or a player.

Also said they have some interest in Savage as well. If its 18 and Savage they can go jump!

I'd like that. I really want Longer but don't feel great about giving up our first pick.

He also was a little bit elusive about the idea of Savage going to the club. But was VERY adamant about our first pick being part of the deal.

Yep losing pick 18, but only dropping 7 spots and getting longer is a win/win imo

they talk about developing high draft picks and wanting compo...we develop the best player ever and lose him for nothing in his prime. Rob Kerr is a Wang Kerr imo

Thought it was weird he basically said they'd take a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Elliot Yeo too. From what I saw he was quite a good player, certainly showed just as much (if not more) than Longer has in his career. Hopefully we play hardball with them. He wants out. We'll get him in the end eventually.

He made it clear that an early pick was required, plus something. Good that they are being so clear, think Longer is worth an early pick and a depth player, over that, what's Jolly's phone number? ;-)

Brisbane Lions national talent manager Rob Kerr tells Gillette AFL Trade Radio:
- A deal with Hawthorn for Billy Longer will have to involve the Hawks' first pick (currently No.18)
- Any deal for Shane Savage with Hawthorn is secondary to getting the Hawks first pick for Longer
So let me get this straight.. Brisbane is demanding our first pick for Billy longer?
So despite the fact that he is un-contracted, wants out and has selected our club as his preference.. is what universe can they demanding anything? would they risk losing say Pick 36 (2nd Rounder after FA compensation picks) and lose him to someone else for nothing?

Should we just keep our first round pick, push Longer into the draft, and try to take Longer in the National Draft with our first pick?

No-one took a ruckman last year in the first round (until Grundy @ the Pies at 18), so perhaps would be likely to slide through all the other teams' first picks.

EDIT: Obviously this scenario is if the Lions won't budge on first round pick + something else demand for Longer.

Would this now be affectionately referred to has being 'Ball'ed?
Thanks Luke for the reference! :D

Could we get Longer and Docherty in a bundle deal with a Pick 18, 19 Savage and Sewell combo?

The way I see it that would be picks 18, 19, Savage pick in the mid to late 20s and Sewell a pick in the thirties.

18,19, Savage 25-28, Sewell 35-40 for a pick 12 Docherty and a pick 8 Longer that want out.

Am I dreaming?
