Herald Sun reporting Savage has nominated Carlton.........bad luck son we do what's best for the club and I dont want Casboult or pick 28.
Apart from a couple of players, for the most part, Carlton have a big pile of shit filling their list. F*** them and their pick 28, dont deal with them Hawks, engage Melbourne or Saints because they have the picks required to get a deal done.

I would hate to see Savage in a Blues jumper.

Carlton picked up #28 by trading Hampson.

They want to use that pick to get Savage.

Savage >>>> Hampson. Absolutely ridiculous to think that effectively it is a straight swap. Would much prefer to use Savage to upgrade our first round pick to get into the top 10.

If everyone who is against Chappy could look outside the square and realise as a business proposition it makes a lot of sense.

1. It intensifies our rivalry with Geelong, imagine the marketing that would go on? You could almost guarantee 85k
2. He is a big game player, has x-factor of a Rioli just on a different level
3. Will come absolutely dirt cheap ( 2 seasons out of him is less risky than a pick 60 in the draft)
4. We are still firmly in our window and have lost almost a thousand games of experience

Put it this way, we are replacing Osborne with Chappy, this = huge win hfc

Bring Chappy in, deal Longer and maybe somehow work Docherty into the deal and we have done extremely well. Docherty has break the line speed and top end skills, certainly can develop into a mid. We then go into the draft obviously compromised however it may then open up the chance to have a free shot at Garlett, you never know with Burger and Rioli as well as Hill and Anderson he may flourish?

There is no chance chappy could ever bring himself to pull on a hawk jumper. Will never happen.

The fact that Chappy is having a meeting with us, means he is interested.

On Savage to Carlton, I really hope we don't trade him for that, at least make them upgrade our first round pick. 12 and 28 for Savage, 18 and 34. That is what i want to see. If not... get 21 or 22 from Melbourne or St Kilda! STUFF THE BLUES!

I disagree, players will go anywhere for the chance of a premiership
Not to mention the pay FFS. Let's see Chappy can try and find a job for sweet FA or pull a few hundred grand playing another couple of seasons. Premiership hasn't got much to do with it I'd say.

Can anyone fill me in If we manage to upgrade our first pick in the draft does the buddy compo come in to play then? So say we got pick 2 from Melbourne do we also get pick three for buddy?

Cause Hypothetically
Savage + Sewell and steak knives to Melbourne pick's 2+3 for Nath Fyfe ????

I really like that idea. I have NO idea how it works sorry but i'm going to assume no, it does not work like that.
