Thompson was poorer than Tarrant is now at the time. Also he had his own off-field issues.

Just been looking at the results from draft camp, if we are active in the trading period and get some decent picks, what chance are we of going for Brent Renouf? All I know about him is that he is a ruckman, but looking at the results (mainly his 3km & vertical jump) he seems pretty fit.

The Brown's went alright as well, I was hoping Nathan would be there for our 2nd round pick, but think he might go before we get a chance.

lol!! Tarrant looks like he will be a busy boy next year... with all these reliable sources he is playing for the Eagles, Dockers and will remain at Collingwood! What a hectic training schedule!

Was just my own pure speculation. Saw other posts where Colingwood wanted Roas, Waters and pick 16 from us, so i thought id share my 2c on what Tarrant is worth.

hahaha ya goose! how would u feel.....hav fun watchin the granny mate??? i sure did!! yeh forward didnt stand up again....lynch 3 snags , hansen 2, in a reasonably low scoring match...yeh not bad effort from those **** forwards ey mate??? luved it wen woosh called up cousins on the stage to get the cup, cousins gave it the old windmill celebration...wat a flipping freak! if only our forward line was as good as collingwoods......bahahahahahahaa ...not.

good idea :thumbsdown: you take away tarrant and rocca and like it or not u take away our forward line, these are the power houses of our forward line and without these blokes our best forward would be the little man known as alan didak, dont get me wrong i love didak but we need tarrant and rocca down there

J Rowe has asked to leave the club, to be traded or he will enter the PSD. I know its not massive news as most supporters would want to delist him but he believes he has not been given the opportunities he deserves. Source… Me, I am good friends with him. What do you think we could realistically get for him?

I've always liked Rowey.
Sorry to see him go.

Not sure which clubs would be interested, perhaps he could be used in multi player deal.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but Rowe can blame himself of the lack of opportunities. Does he ever switch out of 'cruise'? I notice he runs at one pace and he never works hard enough to pick up kicks.

We will get nothing for him. Zilch. Zippo.

It's true i didn't think he was that bad.. could go alright at Carlton or Hawthorn.

I've always liked him... he is the sort of player when he plays well he has a blinder if not well he doesn't do much at all
