Another player to be pre-listed by Gold Coast - North Ballarat defender Cam Richardson - has told the club he wants only to be drafted to North Melbourne, the Roosters' AFL affiliate.
ST KILDA has set its sights on Brisbane Lions youngster Sam Sheldon in a bid to inject some creative flair into its midfield.
The Saints yesterday made a play for the skilful utility who, after a bright start to his career, went backwards in his fourth season at the Lions, playing only five games.
The 21-year-old could be involved in a three-way swap involving a deal to send North Melbourne defender Gavin Urquhart to Brisbane.
North Melbourne remains in the race for West Coast goalkicker Ben McKinley.
The Eagle is believed to have toured the new facilities at Arden St last week and nominated the Roos as his preferred new home

Saw him tonight. We should totally go after Brad Dick from Collingwood, read somewhere he might have some problems at the Pies.. straight swap for Campbell.
Wonder what the Goldcoast would want us to give up for Richardson? can't see us wanting to give up much even if we want him.

Was thinking the same thing."North Melbourne remains in the race for West Coast goalkicker Ben McKinley.

How good is that for the club - we really are in a NEW ERA - players nominating our club.
We don't need McKinley. We have Warren and NOK who play the same position. We need outside mids not medium forwards.

You have to laugh at Terry Wallet.
The announcer builds him up as some amazing guru on all things involving trades when one quick glance at his record would indicate he is the last person in the world you would go to for advice on the subject.
Same position but nothing like NOK.
Can kick the ball long and has good hands. Could be a dangerous HFF. Has played in the midfield in the WAFL this season. Maybe they think they can get him fit enough to go Wing/HFF.
Awesome news here. I really liked the look of this guy. Make it happen Euge.
Saw him tonight.
Problems is right.

Good start. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, good players will be nominating NMFC as their destination of choice.
Midfield? er I don't think so, he's slower than a wet paper bag. Aaron Edwards would be better in the midfield.
If it costs us a 5th rounder, then that's one pick less we can speculate on a kid and knowing North, the chances of picking up a diamond in the rough is always on the cards.
For the life of me I can't remember the last time before this trade week a player nominated North as their preferred destination.
