Ben McKinley? (vic boy, needs a new home and is capable of kicking goals)
Ryan Gamble? (on fringe at a great side)
Nick Malceski? (vic boy, who has fantastic skills. Would take our kick outs every week)
Jaryd Roughead? (maybe needs to be the main focal point without Buddy)
Clinton Young? (outside runner, low cost)
Nathan Brown? (key defender, ready made)
Chris Tarrant? (maybe for a few years until we groom key back)
Josh Fraser? (see below)
Justin Sherman? (outside runner who kicks goals)
Bernie Vince? (inside and outside mid who is a ball magnet)
Michael Rischitelli? (tough as nails onballer, also very quick and can push forward to kick goals)

Pure hypotheticals here guys, but who out of this group would you trade for? Would any of these players add anything to our list? and at minimal cost would you pick up a Josh Fraser if we lost David Hale as backup or even as a tall forward who is nimble and pretty agile.

Have we signed wells up yet?? If so and I'll be waiting for the pings to the head but 4 me I'll be tempted to hale/wells and get swallow jr and an ok pick choice in the draft.

Wells is a freak I know but its time to get some currency for him and by all reports is swallow jr is a gun in the making.

I hate seeing Sherman kick goals for the Lions, but I'd love him to be kicking them for us.

Bernie Vince is a beauty I reckon.

Both totally unobtainable.

Harvey/Ross/Adams can have the other spot covered I reckon:thumbsu:

I'm guessing you are talking about Adams playing HF/FP on a very part-time basis? I would have thought he has as much chance resting in the forward line as Anthony/Wells/Ziebell and Cunnington/Swallow.

Has proven this year, esp. the past 5 or so weeks that he is probably on equal footing, importnace wise with Anthony. Hugely important player. in our starting 18 on wing with a fit squad I would think.

The good thing is that we have recruited mid-fielderes that are goal scorers, so we can have greater rotations through mid-field/forward-line.

If Wells is Gold Coast bound, then there's not much point trying to negotiate a trade. He will sign up under the GC concession and we'll get a future draft compensation whether we like it or not.

Ben McKinley? (vic boy, needs a new home and is capable of kicking goals) Is not a tall as such plays a similar role to Warren, Edwards and O'Keefe so is not really a list need.
Ryan Gamble? (on fringe at a great side) Same as above I think cannot see him taking the spot of anyone in our side.
Nick Malceski? (vic boy, who has fantastic skills. Would take our kick outs every week) Would cost too much to get him down here imo.
Jaryd Roughead? (maybe needs to be the main focal point without Buddy) Again would cost alot and signed a new contract this season so while it would be nice can't see it happening.
Clinton Young? (outside runner, low cost) I like this one especially with the recruitment of Burgoyne has found himself playing forward more.
Nathan Brown? (key defender, ready made) Not going to happen is set to replace Presti and a side up there currently no incentive to move.
Chris Tarrant? (maybe for a few years until we groom key back) Would cost quite a bit for two years when we are unlikely to push for a premiership is really not worth it our Tarrant and Delaney should be given a shot next year.
Josh Fraser? (see below) No does not bring anything to the side would rather see Goldy or McIntosh ruck alone.
Justin Sherman? (outside runner who kicks goals) Bit of a downhill skier but I'm sure Bon will iron that out of him if the price was right.
Bernie Bince? (inside and outside mid who is a ball magnet) Won there B&F last year they wouldn't let him go and price would be too high would rather us chase Knights.
Michael Rischitelli? (tough as nails onballer, also very quick and can push forward to kick goals) Rejected coming to Carlton last year can't see him making his way to North would cost alot, more likely GC.

Replies in bold.

If we like? That's like asking The Filthy Lizard if he likes having crabs.

I hate that guy.

If walker wants to leave we should do everything in our power to get him. Arrogant and egotistic, yes, but so were Carey and to an even more extreme extent, Wiz Capper hahah. Regardless of this, the kid is an absolute freak, and has a lot of X-factor about him, recruiting Taylor would make our forward line an absolute machine

HF: Black - Hansen - Warren
FF: Harvey - Walker - Thomas

Get it done North

This is alright. I also have no doubt that Mitch Thorp will be our pick 69.

Rischitelli is going to the Gold Coast, scratch.
Justin Sherman has been pus for two years now, doesn't work nearly hard enough. Voss seems to be losing patience with him, but don't want.

Clinton Young, as much as I hate to say it, would improve our side. We don't have any highly skilled seagulls who can kick it 65 into the forward line.

And people need to stop dreaming about getting David Swallow. Never going to happen, GC will not give up their number one pick in the draft.

No view on Bernie Bince, Arden?

We need some of our Adelaide based posters to take Bernie Bince out for a bender at The Crazy Horse to ensure he's late for recovery the following morning. Apparently he's on his final warning with the club.

Ben McKinley? (vic boy, needs a new home and is capable of kicking goals)

Would rather Walker.

Ryan Gamble? (on fringe at a great side)

Nope, Warren > Gamble

Nick Malceski? (vic boy, who has fantastic skills. Would take our kick outs every week)

Is on the market? Interesting, maybe worth a look.
Jaryd Roughead? (maybe needs to be the main focal point without Buddy)

We would pay over the odds.
Clinton Young? (outside runner, low cost)

Massive left foot but no thanks.
Nathan Brown? (key defender, ready made)

Would rather develop Delaney/Grima
Chris Tarrant? (maybe for a few years until we groom key back)

No.
Josh Fraser? (see below)

NO.
Justin Sherman? (outside runner who kicks goals)

Wouldn't mind him, but he looks like an utter tool.

Bernie Vince? (inside and outside mid who is a ball magnet)
Yes please.

Michael Rischitelli? (tough as nails onballer, also very quick and can push forward to kick goals)

Gold Coast.

Out of that list, only Vince, Sherman, Roughead and Malceski interest me. We would pay too much for Roughead when we have KPF talent out the arse.

Vince? No chance.

Roughead? No chance.

Malceski? Unless he actually wants to come to Melb, no chance.

Sherman is the only realistic option IMHO, and I don't see who he'd push out next year. We still have Ziebell, Anthony and Petrie to slot in, along with possibly Tazza for CHB.

What about Harbrow from the Dogs, isnt he out of contract at the end of the year? If so i think he would be a good option as a running defender! Has a great dash and speed.

I think Walker's problem is he gets into the side and if he isn't reaching certain benchmarks he just gets dropped the next week irrespective if the rest of his team mates are torching the forward line or not so he can play selfish football.

I think if a coach backed him in, he would be a more team oriented player.

He is quite young, a lot of KPPs have done nothing at age 20.

Depending on what it would cost us, I wouldn't mind having a crack at him. He would be a shitload cheaper than McKernan, it really depends on if we are prepared to burn good picks or not.
