Vince and Roughead are good players but we should stay away from Sherman and Richitelli is not worth a first rounder, I don't know how people could even consider him to be worth that much. Would we get a first rounder for Wells or Swallow?

Id give you blokes a first rounder for swallow and smack plus second rounder for wells

I really hope we do not go after Stanton he is an outside player but is a turnover merchant; do not want at all. He's worth a 2nd rounder tops. Whose spot would he take in our midfield, Garlett perhaps?

FORGET WALKER.
If he was any good he would kick a bag every time he was dropped to the SANFL, he does not do this. I watched him play a game earlier in the year where Norwood flogged Sturt by 15 goal, Walker kicked 4 3 in the last qtr when the game was well and truly gone.

Why would we even entertain the thought of trading Lindsay Thomas? He is maturing nicely, especially from what we have seen in past years. The kid is a star on the rise and will probably lead our goalkicking for the next few years.

Knights is a good player, Thomas has no ceiling on what kind of player he can turn into.

I don't get it either. The 6 games prior to him injuring his knee he averaged 16 poss and 3.2 goals, and that included games against the dogs, pies and freo over there.

Up until round 11 he was averaging 4.5 tackles and 2.3 goals. He was on target for a 50 goal season and is still leading our goal kicking on 29.

Thomas has his short comings but it seems like he is responding well to Scotty's coaching and is on the up. I'm excited to see what he can produce in 2011.

Perplexing. He's just scratched the surface of his potential. Yes he has flaws, but what permanent small forward at his age doesn't?

A guy like Lindsay Thomas needs to stay. He's done his apprenticeship and was in fine form this year until injury. Playing whilst hobbled was clearly a bad call. Don't judge him on his form post the Carlton game.

He's still only young. Too often players are judged way too harshly b/w ages 18-21. They aren't 'men' yet!!!!

LT is the oldest looking 22 year old in Australia, and no one in their right mind would trade him out of the club. When fit is a lock for best 22. He has had consistency issues, and has let himself down in the facial expressions area from time to time, but this isn't too surprising considering his position, his age and the inexperienced midfield that he has been depending on for supply in 2010.

We have no one else that can play the role he does, as a crumbing AND marking small forward so to trade him would be lunacy.
