In the past I have bagged McKinley but for p69 im not too fussed. Probably means the end of Azza though.

I can't think of anything the Saints would offer us that would be a suitable deal for Urquhart.

The first thing that has made me truly excited this trade week. Richardson is a jet, and the fact that he's nominated only us is even more exciting.

This is true. For the life of me I can't remember the last time before this trade week a player nominated North as their preferred destination. It appears thse facilities are paying for themselves :D
In trade week it is normal and okay for a player to indicate where he'd like to go.

But in the draft it's called draft tampering. The pre-listing scenario is interesting in that Cam Richardson is effectively being drafted and traded at the same time and therefore able to indicate where he wants to go. Had he qualified, would I. Smith do the same?

Also, is there likely to be a closer association with Gerard FitzGerald in future?

North -> Armitage
Brisbane -> Urquhart
St Kilda -> Sheldon

Get it done.

Armitage is just about the only player that would interest me, Jack Steven as well, the former is more likely though.

Forgot about Armitage.

I don't rate Sheldon all that highly, but haven't the Saints said that he'll (Armitage) get ample game-time next year?
They say that every year about him.

He should tell em to fob off and nominate us :thumbsu:

I'd rather get a pick + McKinley for Urquhart. If Lions are putting Sheldon on the table, we are putting Urquhart and Eagles putting McKinley then I'd expect a good pick coming from Saints and a later pick from Lions to balance the ledger, could also be some upgrading/downgrading to hit market value.

They said that all pre-season with the departure of Luke Ball.

I'm not sure he is one of Ross Lyon's favourite players.

He's definately a better player than the likes of Eddy that played last weekend.

Would do really well at North imo.

It was rumoured a year or 2 ago that Armitage had a bit of a high opinion of his abilities and therefore wasn't always prepared to put in the hard yards. To be fair, this year he's been injured which meant he wasn't able to cement a spot in the senior side.

Arrogant and injured?

Sounds perfect for Hawthorn then :thumbsdown:

Dare I do a Neil Mitchell, but hasn't Armitage had some off-field issues?

And re: Aaron Edwards, I found it very interesting (& a little surprising) that he polled votes in the B&F every single week between rounds 16 & 21. This is not the end-of-season form to usually be associated with getting the boot.
