Excluding Menzel, Docherty and Yarran who I doubt will play predominantly midfield ever.

Midfield rotations looking a little light on quality. Desperately need to refuel.

You do realise their 2nd rd pick is only like 3 picks before ours?

:drunk:
Yes but there is every chance they will sell
Stringer doesn't even play in the midfield yet.
would say the same thing about Menzel though, and saying Casboult for Stringer is like saying Menzel for Josh Jenkins..

No no, I know who Stringer is, I acknowledge that he isn't in their midfield right now, mainly due to the need to further build up his overall tank but he will be there in the future.

What I'm saying is that one of the decent Bulldogs mids could be prised out of them if you were to put Casboult on the table as a potential trade, they'd be wetting themselves in excitement at that prospect.

It really would depend on how desperate they want to be to fix this major issue as to how far up their player scale they'd be prepared to go, desperate people make desperate decisions don't forget.

Look Sheik, i can understand you might be keen to get Jake Stringer. Levi Casboult is of limited interest to the Dogs, at best a stopgap player. Whereas Stringer is a star in the making.
Are you seriously suggesting the Dogs would swap a star for a journeyman type? They might but maybe you would have to sweeten the deal. To sweeten that deal you would be looking at a lot of sugar on top.
More likely if Casboult was offered then swaps of picks and peripheral players may be exchanged.
I like your optimism, but thinking because the Dogs need a big fwd that they would trade away a future star smacks of desperation. I am surprised you didn't suggest Bontempelli, I mean we are desperate. ;)

Problem is Zeph..... dogs barely have stopgap KP players.....

but otherwise I agree, can't see a straight Stringer/Casboult trade ever happening.

Would definitely bring the lols

I rate Hendo incredibly highly, and wouldnt be interested in trading him, unless we got way overs. Would want Boyd, Jacksh & Shiel (which GWS wouldnt give up, and Saints couldnt satisfy in any way).

Even in what I would deem a down year, he's so structurally important. Waite's run of form can be largely attributed to hendo's good leading which takes a defender away from Waite.
Yep. Not to mention his leadership. He's a great role model for the club. Too much to let go of. I know some deals seem too good to be true, but to trade Lachie we'd have to be robbing a club blind to justify it.

Mick said in most recent presser that they'll look at the list on Monday week (days after our final game). What Lucas, Robbo (off-field) and Garlett do this week will likely determine their future in Navy Blue. Hope we see both Lucas and Garlett on field to at least give it a crack.
