that's*

It's ok buddy, contractions can be tricky at first. You'll get the hang of it when you grow into those big boy pants.
It's what happens when you are trying to type in three different threads on two different forums all at the same time, in fact it's completely rediculous !! :p

Ok gotcha now ...

We swap players that aren't wanted in a 14th placed team for better rated players in higher ranked teams

Hope nobody else cotton's onto this beauty !!
I get what you are saying, but it's not really that counter-intuitive. It's the players who are expendable in terms of team balance that you trade, that's the main thing. Hendo is (IMHO) not expendable.

Highly doubt that we would trade Henderson. I think we can get pick one, we just need to package our first pick with a player.

For example pick 5 and Casboult, you would think Melbourne or St. Kilda would be falling over themselves to do that deal. Would be a great deal if it netted us Boyd. Ideally you would be asking for something to come with it as well such as their third round pick or perhaps a player. You'd hope there is interest om Garlett and it would be great if there was interest in Warnock or Lucas but I doubt it. They won't net much on their own but add them to a trade such as the one suggested and we might be able to get more than just pick one.

Not having a pick in the first round would suck a bit but getting two picks in the second round and Boyd would make it all the worth while.

I think we'll be chasing a back-up ruckman this year. Not sure what the deal with Warnock is, get the feeling he is contracted and is on good money which might be a real spanner in the works when it comes to trading him. If Warnock is on big money you would just about trade him to take that contract out of your salary cap, then we can go and get a free agent or perhaps up the salary for a Mitchell or Boyd who might not be fully convinced to come to us.

1st game back, picked up straight where he left off. GUN... i want!

And Luke parker..... dont even get me started! Jet!!
Love Lukey.

Mitchell started slow but came home very strong. Just wasn't enough to make up for Lobbe's season low & Docherty's low score to get me over the line (I lost by 11 :( in the prelim).

just thought I'd mention that trading Henderson is a poisoned challis, no club which has ever traded Henderson has ever won that trade no matter how good that trade may have seemed.
Or... Every time we have had anything to do with Hendo re trades, we win!
