And I know you aren't one for speculating, but would you take a guess at the trade value of that list of OUTs, bar walk-for-nix Waite.
Robbo a 3rd or a player like Blease.
Lucas a 3rd or maybe a pick upgrade.
Warnock - late second early 3rd if we pay down of his salary.
Jeffy - I can't figure out his value. Just keep him FFS.

Nothing concrete but enough whispers to have me thinking he will be traded if a team offers us something half decent. Id even be willing to pay some of his salary. Which is an obscene amount.
Thanks. Now we just need to see who wants a 27yo tap ruckman with limited around the ground impact. Get it done, Carlton!

I suspect you are on the money as it is a fire sale. Would not be surprised if Robbo got us a late secondish though because I can see more than one club being interested.

With you on Jeffy although I suspect he may be the one that walks to the PSD or suchlike and we get nix for him. It would just fit the way the year has panned out with him.

Can't wait for the "sack mick! He let Jeffy walk for nothing" calls next year...

Maybe we can convince a team to keep him wrapped in cotton wool until finals when he dominates :p
I'd be happy to retain Warnock if he agreed to putting himself through the most rigorous regime through the pre-season.

Robbie just finds it hard to push himself beyond relatively low pain/discomfort levels. Needs to harden up a bit as he's a damn good tap ruck-man.

Thing is, as long as Robbie is on the list, I can't see Mick playing Kreuz in his best position.

Sydney, could use Warnock. Their mids would feast off his taps and he could get away with being a witches hat!
I've seen this posted a lot but the Swans don't need a ruck nor do they have the cap space to carry a player like Warnock. Pyke is their ruckman and they also have Derrickx with Nankervis and Naismith developing well and Patrick Mitchell the project. It's the last position the Swans need to worry about.

Port and Melbourne were the teams I identified earlier in the year that need some ruck depth although Port may take care of that in a big way if they can get Ryder.

100% this!
I also find it amusing how people allege to know monetary values of contracts of certain players. Warnock may be on a sizeable contract but highly doubtful it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Plus they wouldn't need him to contribute goals given the strength of their forward line.

I reckon Sydney could suit him as he could work from the centre square and deep into the deep 50 where he could be a pretty good foil as a +1.

Not sure of his value though, which is low given his form and injury woes.

Here's the thing
The thing most of you haven't figured out yet
Mick can turn vanilla types into good footblers so long as they can use it and are prepared to work hard
DeBoer is the type who would thrive under Mick, not that he hasn't been a good player at Freo (maybe not a good example by I but you get the point)
Can Blease kick?
Our list is loaded with poor users of it ... Robinson, Lucas, Casboult, Waite, Walker, Curnow, Carrazzo, Simspon, Armfield, Ellard, etc
Mick last year brought in some better users in Everitt, Thomas, Docherty etc
He's on a path to replacing bad kicks with better kicks
And blouses with honest players

Just wondering, is Garlett a good field kick?
He's good
His problem is he tries to hard
Could call this showing off
Tries smarty pants low % drilled types
It's like how he plays on when he shouldn't and needn't
How's the check side dribbled bullshit he kicked 5m from goal when he should just run in and kick it like a normal person
Jeff hasn't matured as a footballer nor hardened up and that's his problem

If you're after a hard worker and don't want blouses, Sammy Blease ain't your boy.
