Jon Ralph has OFFICIALLY lost the plot. Vickery for Dahlhaus. Despite saying the Dogs are overpaying and that Vickey will only kick 30 goals.
He lost the plot a long, long time ago but that suggestion hasn't helped him.

Where did he say this?

Moreland is a hard at it onballer who can use the ball well on both sides of his body. Can be ellusive in heavy traffic and his beep test of 15+ shows he's got a decent motor.

His disposal and run in the AFL probably would best suit him to a half back type role. Would need to put on some weight however his hard at it style and toughness means he could most likely handle the argy bargy of AFL.
watching the show I always imagined his only real chance of making it at AFL level would be as a tagger

Yeah, that was rubbish. It followed on from him telling an irate caller to KB's show the other day that he and other talking head journos were only there to provide a little light relief rather than actual footy analysis. Dude is drinking his own bathwater.

Having watched him for the last few years week in and week out the show really didn't show his style of play to advantage.

He's far too skilled and creative to be a tagger.
Yep fair call, all they really showed was that he had good endurance and work rate and not much else hence the tagger suggestion. You seem to know him well enough, how come he never made it at VFL level and did he play falcons?

Lets just say he has a colourful past. Certainly no choir boy growing up.

He kind of eluded to that when they asked him why he'd never made it previously. I think his indiscretion in the NT showed a small part of that side of him.

He did play Falcons. Played in the same team as Patrick Dangerfield, Jack Steven, Lachie Henderson and Ed Curnow to name a few.

Are we interested? We can get the old gang back together.

I was told that we were one of the clubs who spoke to him. I have no reason to doubt the person who told me.

I do add though that I take everything I'm told with a grain of salt until actual confirmation is provided.

Will try and get it confirmed though by another friend who could have a bit more inside info.

I loved the show, but it's interesting why some of the blokes weren't playing state level if they were really desperate for a crack.

Some blokes really develop late though, guy from my club never even played just came and watched and drank beers, then at 19 has an unbelievable growth spurt, swear he grew a foot.

Started playing at 20, was the seniors FF by 22 and leading the comp in goal kicking.

Didn't he liken himself to a Michael Barlow type & similar scenario with age etc. A few highlights last night showcased his dual sided skills. How tall is he, as think that may have been deceptive next to the other 2?

Blues confirm meeting with Mitchell family

CARLTON has confirmed its interest in Sydney Swans midfielder Tom Mitchell and revealed it has spoken to Mitchell's family.

Mitchell - whose father, Barry, played for the Swans, Blues and Collingwood – has struggled to break into the Swans' powerful line-up this season.

Father to son:

I was once like you are now, and I know that it's not easy,
To be calm when you've found nothing’s going on.
But play the twos, rack em' up
Show them everything you've got.
For the Blues will be here tomorrow, but the Swans may not.
I'm sad to say I knew the song right from the start. :)

I can see why Tom is frustrated, because everytime he tries to explain - his father just turns away.

We have to trade pick 6 for late first + second rd IMO if we want Jaksch & Mitchell.

Send that first to Sydney for Mitchell.

Send the higher second round (either our original one or the one we trade in) to GWS for Jaksch.

Overall - pick 6 for Mitchell & Jaksch.
