Pick 7 for Jaksch, 19 and 21! Good chance now.

Gotta go for it now. Would be a great deal for us, could set us up.

Surely with all the commotion around GWS SOS can let pick 21 slip to us.

Pick 4 and 7 is way too much for a 28 year old Griffen, maybe the dogs throw in their second (pick 26) which will mean GWS might be happier to let 19 AND 21 go to us.

Really not sold on Whiley. Whenever I see "tackling" highlighted as a player's best attribute I get a bit suspicious of basically every other aspect of their game. "Can grab other people good" is hardly a glowing endorsement for a player's skill level.

Zone selection, 21 years old and only played 10 games. I'd be surprised if we've done much homework on him. Let's not get duped here.

I actually like what the Dogs are doing here - Griffen won't be a big contributor when their current crop of mids mature. Add two quality talls this draft to address the holes - in 5 years time you've got yourself a premiership window
You like what the Bulldogs are doing?

They're not doing anything. This isnt in their plans to have their Captain leave.

Thats 2 captains in 4 years leave to go to GWS.

They have already committed two of three live selections. Only need one pick and have to cull the list in the future. Great time to ask for Shiel and KJ.

In: Jaksch, Jones, 19
Out: 7

WB
In: 4, 7
Out: Griffen, Jones

GWS
In: Griffen
Out: 4, 19

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a trade like this, but I would be pushing GWS for as much as we can get.
I'd be happy with this..sounds pretty fair for all parties involved!

And for us..Two players and a pick for 7 is a decent return

Macca has to be gone.

Griffen is from SA - why not ask for a trade home?
This move from Griffen suggests to me that Macca stays.
After getting over the shock, I think there's silver lining here. Dogs should try to prise a tall free from the Giants instead of the picks.

GWS won't give up their gun mids just to get in a 28 year old gun mid. It's counter productive.

Give us Buntine instead of Whiley. He only played 7 games in 2014.

#7 for #19, Jaksch and Buntine.
Buntine was the first who came to mind.

Wouldn't mind that Hampton either, always thought he was okay. Bugg too.

Not a chance the dogs will accept picks... This could really fck our chance of getting Boyd because I reckon Boyd for Griffen could get it done, then GWS take McCartin with pick 4..

Buntine would be awesome but he is contracted and would probably demand pick 7 on his own.

I'd be stoked if we get Jaksch and Buntine with pick 7 alone though.

HOLY COW

Ryan GRiffen just asked for a trade to GWS - official.
Barrett say GWS want to offer our pick 7 and their pick 4

Surely this means they will be desperate four our seven adn we could maybe walk away with

Jaksch, #19, #21 and Wiley for #7?
