Whats even funnier is it took us 4 days to come up with that crap... I'd love to know with what Melbourne must have started at... pick 112??
And we bargained hard to get it down to pick 61... :$
Gives your signature a new meaning, yeah?

Jeffy was out of contract and pretty much out the door so this sort of stuff is almost to be expected (though surely we could have pushed for that second round pick upgrade...)

Can't have Vossy engineering every trade unfortunately.

McKay on T.W.

Re. Jaksch, Whiley and #19: Still going through a number of connotations with GWS.

Some water to go under the bridge just yet. Not wanting to jump the gun on the trade yet but we do want Jaksch.

Other names being thrown up but Whiley in the lead..........Other names would be Sumner, for one.

But there are several other guys we're looking at. Seems he wants to keep cards close to chest at this stage, which I don't blame him for.

Pray we get a big deal!

There can be only 1
You left Hoskin-Elliott out?
Would love to get him but did not think it was a realistic.

The ones I listed are more their 2nd & 3rd tier players.
Bugg was a regular (17 games) Corr and Townsend each played <10 games and Downie is a developing Ruck (203cm)
Each one is showing improved development over their previous year's efforts.

Brock not guaranteed a spot… depends on numbers on the list - will depend on who we get in by the sounds.

If we did get more than 1 x mature midfield type, Brock could be gooooneski.

McKay on TWR now....

Bit of water to go under the bridge before obtaining KJ.
Whiley is a big body midfield type who is someone we are looking at, a couple other players have been thrown up but Whiley is in the lead at the moment to be part of any KJ trade.
Trying to improve the list in terms of players aged 20-24, wants young talent into the club.
Wants to get KJ and another very good player and retain a pick inside the first round if possible.
Confident in getting a deal done for Liam Jones.
No interest in Cooney at all.
Garlett will go to Melb in exchange for picks 83 - 61 etc
McLean- cannot lock him in for a contract at this stage, he is in the balance, will make a decision over the coming weeks, Brock aware and not really comfortable.
Robinson- no real interest as yet from anyone.
Lucas- same boat as Brock, not contracted
Warnock- couple clubs have enquired about him but ruckmen are hard to come by.
Not a rebuild as such but calling it a regeneration of the list.
Early next week is the estimated time frame for KJ deal.
