So Gordon is going to push aside the footballing manager and get things done himself.

As if there wasn't enough friction at The Dogs already, the President is going to show everyone how it's done. Wow!
They should get Captain, Coach and any Brownlow Medalists on the list involved too!

That's an indication of exactly where the Bulldogs are at in terms of professionalism as an organisation and further illustrates how far they are from being successful.

Sorry, that is not true at all, my wife and her sisters went to primary school with him and she has just assured me it has always been "Bomber".

Interesting as it's what he himself said in an interview some years ago. He said it was a nickname given to him by his family due to his obsession with the books/movies. Of course it is possible that kids would have also morphed it into Bomber cause it sounded that way.

can someone explain it to me...

be gentle.
Wallace repeated himself ad nauseum last week, saying that Carlton should keep pick #7.........................until he spoke to McKay.

He's still softly sitting on the side on pick #7 but somewhat reluctantly admitting to understand the CFC's objectives.

He knows next to nothing of Jaksch, Whiley or who we may be targeting at #19 but that didn't stop him clinging to the higher number.

No I understand. Was being a smartarse.

I have also posted that Wallace loves to praise and condemn the same move, often on the same day in different forums and always in terms that allows him to claim he was right later on.

Prevaricate and splinter are his middle names. Afterall he has this "list mangler" thing going on that allows him to get paid by idiotic media outlets.

Waste of oxygen.

Honestly would rather have etsal1 on radio/tv

Should the Lions get Beams they'll have one hell of a midfield...

Beams, Rockliff, Rich, Zorko, Redden, Hanley, Aish, Taylor, Christiensen, C Beams...

I like Robertson and Cutler too.

Harwood, Merrett, Clarke
Hanley, Gardiner, Adcock
Beams, Beams, Rich
Zorko, Close, Christiensen
Martin, Staker, Green
Luenberge, Rockliff, Aish
Redden, Taylor, Paparone, Crisp/Golby/Lester/Robertson/Cutler etc etc

Light on KPFs but Gardiner and McStay should be good in a couple of years.
