What do people here think about Arryn Siposs?

He is on the outer at St Kilda and according to their board on the chopping block.

Has a long raking left foot on him, and is a good size (191 cm), would be a good cheap addition if they decide to let him go?

His ability has never been in question, mainly his effort so do we back Malthouse in?
Should be better than he is.
Lazy and opinionated apparently.
kicks like a mule.
would love that ability off half back.
low cost high reward?

The one thing Matlhouse wants above just about anything.....:)

Think you may have answered your own question just there C4
Yeah you're probably right, but surely effort is a result of coaching and mindset?

This is much easier to turn around than physical ability?

Waite..........Garlett...........Lucas............
You'd want it to be but some things just can't be knocked out of one.

We need players that are "ON" for every game. Nothing less.

We know that we've had words with Jaksch, at least.

Others have already been mentioned here.....but who knows......not everything will show up.
That's it, you'd imagine club would speak to plenty of players in any given year to see where their heads are at.

Wayne Carey said the Dogs recently offered Patton a 5m/5y contract and he knocked it back.

Interesting of true.
How could you knock that back if you were Patton?

And I know the dogs desperately need a KPF (even more than us), but that's a massively dud deal if you ask me.

Patton is not a dominant power forward YET. He is a super promising kid, no doubt. And I reckon he will be a beauty. But that kind of money goes to a genuine superstar. Someone who is one of the best in the league and will give you top line performance from day one.

Even if Patton takes the competition by storm, it's unlikely to happen for 2-3 years (or more). So essentially you are paying him a few hundred grand a year to develop further in the next 3 years and then $1.5-$2m a year after that. Sheesh....

CHF Malceski aside, that would actually be a darn good side.

In looking at our season thus far we really need an intercept marking leader across Half Back. We have lost Scotland, Duigan & Laider and sent Henderson forward all of which were capable, we do have Docherty coming up in that role but its been a real low point most of the year.

The freo, geelong & richmond games in particular we lost by ourselves with a lack of composure late in games added with the games we didn't bother to show up for against brisbane, melbourne & GWS and we could easily be 12-6 right now instead of 6-12. Its wishful thinking I know but had those results gone our way we would only be % out of the top 4, if nothing else it shows if we can get a good leader or 2 on board we can turn things around quickly.
