This is what I posted in July. Believe it's still relevant now aside from a couple of the kids at the very bottom. Bonner, Palmer, Frampton are keepers:

We should put a stack of senior players on the trade table and look to trade 2 or 3 that give us the best possible draft picks. The delistings then depend on who (if any) were traded.

On the trade table for me would be:
- Jonas
- Young (for a really good offer)
- Ebert
- Sam Gray
- Ah Chee
- Toumpas
- Polec
- O'Shea
- Lobbe
- Hoff
- Neade
- Broadbent
- Clurey
- Amon

Would trade but realistically no value / Delist based on who gets traded:
- Carlile
- Stewart
- Hoon
- Butcher
- Schulz
- Krak
- Kane Mitchell
- White

Would trade but realistically nobody would take on contract:
- Hammer

Not for trade:
- Boak
- Wines
- Pittard
- DBJ
- Hombsch
- Austin
- Trengove
- Robbie
- Chad
- Ryder
- Dixon
- Impey
- Dougal

No opinion as I've never seen them:
- Palmer, Frampton, Johnson, Snelling, Hewett, Houston, Bonner

If we traded a few of them, even for 2nd / 3rd rounders, we at least increase our odds of finding some draft gold.
Not much I'd disagree with..... I probably wouldn't trade Ebert unless it was a too good to be true type trade.

Fair enough. I love Ebo's work ethic and combativeness but his kicking is symptomatic of our current skills problem. You're right though, it'd be controversial.

There is no way ebert is on trade table. Hinkley goes before him. He is a work horse who had a poor 2015, but 2016 was much better.
Totally agree and PUT body on the line continually. Thought he really turned the corner from the Melb game when he was or appeared to be given specific jobs as in run with roles. Thought he had a bloody good year!

No way I would be trading Ebert, Sam Gray or Young.

Young especially, don't understand why on earth we would trade him.
Sam Gray is tradeable, with Young people are thinking "he's at the height of his value and is replaceable blah blah".. Ebert no way.

Is it true Monfries has never kicked as many goals as Young did this year in regular season? heard something on the radio, 6 years Younger careful what you wish for.

Gussy's best year is 39 goals.

Youngy 37.

Seems like a fair trade. Mind you keep an early draft pick though. That Ritchie Blackmore looks a talent...

In all seriousness Kenny came as close as he dares to saying we're going into a rebuild. 'We'll be aggressive in the draft, we need picks'. Personally I think for the right price anyone on our list fringe player (Neade), tease (Hartlett), or gun (Robbie Gray) is getable.

Apart from about a 3 month period in mid 2015, Jonas has been one of our best defenders and a lock in our best 22 since 2012. Looked really good early in the season up until Gaff-gate. Any dissatisfaction towards his form this year is just scapegoating the guy who had a poor season last year because we were losing and because he's a defender so you can't look at his stats and say 'oh, well we sucked but at least he got heaps of the ball'. If we'd been going well early in the season, nobody would have had a bad word to say about him.

If we're going to use Trengove a defender rotating through the rucks, Jonas is a perfect player to have alongside him. When Trengove is down back he can play small, when Trengove is in the ruck he can play tall.
