Cory Gregson seems to have dropped down the pecking order in that half forward role at Geelong. McCarthy and Cockatoo have been picked in preference. I really liked the looked of him last year, is he worth a crack? If we get another decent small forward, Wingard can spend more time in the middle. Not sure what his value might be, maybe a pick in the high 30's or early 40's?

Recruiting a small forward means it's nearly time for the Matera to PAFC rumour again.

He'd be at best 4th behind McCarthy, Cockatoo and Menzel. After academy and F/S picks our picks would probably be around 13, 31 and 49. I wouldn't give 31 for Gregson and Geelong may want more than 49.
Monfries is getting on and Gregson could be worth it as a back-up.

I still can't get that cowardly act out of my head when he ran up behind Dean Cox
You might be misremembering a bit there, he clocked him on the chin while wrestling in a ruck contest. It was cheap, but not nearly as cheap as running behind someone to punch them.

You might be thinking of Reece Conca running up behind someone (treloar?) and punching them in the back of the head.

In your defence, Richmond players commit so many cowardly acts of cheap thuggery that you can't be expected to keep up with them all.
