Replace Otten?

Do we need a replacement for Otten?
Our forward line already too tall and we only need to play one of Harto/Keith.

Replace Otten?

“Port Adelaide is still undecided on its final offer to out-of-contract wingman Jared Polec, who is destined to become the winner of North Melbourne’s long-running play to make a strategic strike in the AFL trade market.
“The Power understands its current three-year offer to 25-year-old Polec will not quell the temptation of a five-year, $3.5 million offer -- with $1 million in the first season -- from the Kangaroos.
“But Port Adelaide has not made its own call on whether it should counter North Melbourne offer to the speedy midfielder with extra seasons to the current contract offer -- or more money to narrow the $2 million gap with the Kangaroos."
So get Brouch and Smithers healthy basicallyI think we should target:
A running half back with an elite leg
A midfielder who can rack up 30 possessions with his eyes closed
Adding these 2 players will turn us back into contenders.
one sounds like a rash/disease and the other the ointment to treat itLukosine or Rankosius?
If we drafted both of them, I tell you what we would need some ointment!one sounds like a rash/disease and the other the ointment to treat it
You can add a ruck to that list as well as a new fitness teamI think we should target:

Looks like he has some nice composure tooIf you want a tall that comes cheap and can play both ends GWS rookie Zach Sproule is out of contract season's end, worth a serious look especially with our swingman depth Otten likely finishing up. Tall, mobile, great endurance, good overhead and good foot skills, currently playing up forward in the NEAFL and kicking plenty of goals, but played CHB/FB in the TAC Comp for the Murray Bushrangers when I've seen him play and was very impressive in that role. I'd be confident he'd be playing AFL by now for a lot of AFL clubs.
Here's his expanded draft highlights reel from the 2016 Draft Hub at this link if you're interested.

Retiring? How did I miss this news?Looks good. Otten retiring does open up a swingman spot as you say and it would be good to take someone like that on the cheap
You want an "unusually or disproportionately large or excessive" carbon rod?an inordinate carbon rod should do it
A branch? You want an "unusually or disproportionately large or excessive" carbon rod?
You didn't..we are just making a big assumption that the club will make some tough callsRetiring? How did I miss this news?

If he became a Wingard and cost us 7 & 9, I would think that would be a bad deal
Particularly given the recent slide in performance from Chad
I often wonder is Chads slide because he isn't held accountable?
Please no. He makes Troy Menzel look motivated.Would Sam Day be worth a look? never quite fulfilled his potential at the GC and he can play at both ends of the ground
I thought that was the jokeSo get Brouch and Smithers healthy basically
Got any?
Maybe add Tim O'Brien in too. We've had Sam Mayes and Sam Day.
Just need Tim Broomhead, and
One year we will get him!Ryan Shoenmakers says hi as well
You just say bingo. We've had Sam Mayes and Sam Day.
