Taranto is one of the most overrated players in the league. Absolute ball butchering kick and hope merchant. If his kicking was even average he'd be a star, but it's f***ing terrible.

We already have Ollie doing this role in the side. The one GWS mid I’d move heaven and earth for is Green but that ain’t happening.

Would cost to much picks player's wise .
We need to be mindful if JHF wants to come home next yr we need the capital because Adelaide will give up anything to get that over us.

Paddy Dow would be a decent mid to look at to help out
Has been playing really well in the vfl and was a high pick so must’ve had that high potential. And now with the depth they’ve added in the midfield he’ll struggle to get a look in at carlton

If Paddy Dow was pick 30 rather than pick 3 he would've been delisted several years ago. Terrible footballer.

North Melbourne seem to be coming apart at the seams, not wonder Horne-Francis is holding off any contract extension.

Hopper would be a considerably better footballer than Tarantula.

Well if they win more than 6 games this year he’ll stay, let’s see if they can do it

Depends how much he likes being yelled at and/or whether he likes the idea of living in Launceston. ;)

Caro linking them to Tassie again is nauseating as if they want a rebranded Norf down there lol
would anyone really careless if north only played games in Tassie and Melbourne on alternate weeks. I wonder if you could convince them to do it? if the league made all their games potential home games for the club then they could be swayed. Most Melbourne clubs playing north would be lucky to break even financially so if the afl subsidised their games a bit it could be a winner for them and Tassie.

It would suck giant balls they are a heartland that want their own club not a rebranded Norf, just like they've stopped going to Norf games down there now it would be a fukcing disaster.

Sydney is thought of as Sydney now, not South Melbourne (except the Vic media when they are successful). If North didn't try and cling too tightly to their history they'd be fine soon enough. The problem with Tassie is more they need to agree where to base the side. You'd need some games whichever end of the island isn't the main venue, but no more than 3. 8 games local to whichever of Launceston / Hobart is picked would generate enough support there, then you could have a special 3 game membership for the other local.

Jhf returns to sa any chance he gets, if north play on a Friday he's on a plane sat morning.

Jhf wants to see a big plain from nth Melbourne in the off season because he's not interested playing for a terrible team and live in Victoria

He wants to play for port , he will request a trade next season at the latest

The club would be desperate to go after Dow, & would be an open admission of how far we’ve fallen into the abyss.

Dunno about wants to play for port or not. But I do know he was homesick before he left - that can change over time.

Been told someone at South rated him the biggest go home factor he’d seen get drafted.

JHF sounds so gone. Don't stuff this up Port. Offer him as much support as he wants. This year or next, just get it done.
The problem is trading with North Melbourne (sinking ship) as no one wants to go there. You solely have to give away all your current and future draft picks for him.
