How do we rate our actual chances of snaring Adams and Vardy? Would like to have both but thinking if Hamling gets his wish, that Adams will be persuaded to stay. Also, does the Goldstein to WC rumour actually have legs? Would be our most incredible trade period ever if it happened.

Been dismissed as rumour linking us to him.

As for the other rumours as to why he's moving in the first place, well looks like that parts true at least.

Chances of Vardy seem pretty good to the point where I'd be surprised if he wasn't an Eagles player next week

Adams will be a struggle I think. He's contracted and the Bulldogs will be reluctant to see him go. If Mckenzie isn't traded we won't have Adams imo

There is no legs in the Goldstein rumour. None. It isn't going to happen because firstly we don't need him long term and secondly we can't afford him

Hopefully lack of interest from other clubs is the wake up call he Needs. Offer him a one year contract, tell him it's her last chance and see what she does.

A gift horse is a horse that was a gift, quite simply. When given a horse, it would be bad manners to inspect the horse's mouth to see if it has bad teeth. This can be applied as an analogy to any gift: Don't inspect it to make sure it matches some standard you have, just be grateful!

Vardy has talent but its rarely seen because he is just so injury prone.

He is either coming back from injury, about to be injured or injured.

Before his hip problems he played well for The Cats and at one stage he looked like he was going to be something.

Provided he comes cheap and I mean really cheap I don't mind the punt on his.

Fits the bill that Vozzo keeps explaining , that being they want a forward that can ruck.

Darcy Cameron would be a great get and fills the brief perfectly.

I wonder if the medical was done in Melbourne. Interesting prospect - sending a doc over to Melbourne to do medicals so that prospective trades are kept quiet.

Long time reader, first post. Thanks for providing me with alot of good info and alot of good laughs.
Firstly I am wrapped to have Mitchell on board. I don't care who orchestrated the move he is a huge in, so good for our club....short and long term. I think Jetta will benefit as much as most of our midfield if not the most. We had unrealistic expectations on Jetta to be a high possession winning A grader...but he isn't and never has been this kind of player. He is a finisher. A potent, highly skilled and damaging, icing on the top, finisher. With a genuine A grade accumulater and user of the ball to bring him into the game I expect him to have a big impact.

P.s. I promise to have a bigger impact with future posts...just wanted to get the ball rolling

Has been a good player , its more does he fit our playing group and club ....whats the reason Luke Beveridge just left him out most of the season when they struggled with ruck depth .
